Good evening, honorable judges, ladies and gentlemen, my friends, My name is ***.I’m in grade * cla *.I’m very glad to stay here and give you a speech.Today my topic is “seize today for tomorrow”.尊敬的各位评委老师，各位朋友们，晚上好！我是*年级*班的***。很高兴今天能够站在这里给大家做一个演讲。今天我演讲的主题是“抓住今天，就等于抓住了明天”。
One night, I complained to my mom about the lack of time.Finally shesaid :you are short of time just because you waste precious minutes on complaints and anxiety.The point is, no matter how full your schedule is, if you try really hard, you can always fit in some thing more＂
有天晚上，我向妈妈抱怨自己事情太多，时间不够。她说道：“你抱怨没有时间就是因为你把珍贵的分分秒秒都浪费在抱怨和焦虑上。关键是，无论你的时间表排得多满，如果你真的努力尝试了，你还是总能间插地做些事情。” I do hear people say “I will do this tomorrow” and “I will be happy in the future”.But the truth is , there’s no better time than tomorrow、there’s no better time than right now.If not now, when? 我经常听人说，我明天会做这件事的、我将来会开心的。但是，事实是没有一个时间会比今天好，没有一个时间会比现在好。如果今天不是最好的时间，那是什么时候。“Tomorrow” how abstract the word is!What is tomorrow? When is tomorrow? In fact, no one has a guarantee that he or she will be here tomorrow.Now is the only time we have , and the only time that we have any control over.So, treasure every moment that you have.And remember that time waits for no man.“明天”，多么抽象的一个词啊！明天是什么？明天是什么时候？实际上来说，没有一个人能够保证说他/她明天还会站在这里。我们所拥有的时间只有今天，也只有今天是我们的所能掌握之中。所以，珍惜你所拥有的每一分钟把，同时，记住，时间不等人。
My dear friends, life is a journey, not a destination.Don’t wait until tomorrow.Don’t let life slip though our fingers by living in the future.Future depends on what we think and do now.Instead of planning many things in the future, why don’t we do it right now.Rather than being happy tomorrow, why not be happy today.亲爱的朋友们，生活就像一趟旅程，并不仅仅只是一个目的地，不要总是等待着明天去做，不要让时间在你沉浸在将来的美好想象中从你指尖溜走。将来取决于你现在所想所做。相对于计划将来要做什么，为什么不今天将那些事情做完呢？相对于明天开心，为什么不今天就开开心心呢？
Tomorrow is a mystery, and today is a gift.That’s why we give it another name---“The Present” 明天就像一个谜，今天就像礼物，这也就是今天有另外一个名字叫“present”的原因了。
