Falling into the river

One day ,I came to a river.I wanted to cro the river ,but there was only a small bridge over the river.I stopped and thought for a while.because I couldn’t swim.I had no way ,but to walk acro the bridge.When I stepped on the bridge.I felt really frightened.But I moved forward step by step.Suddenly I lost my balance and fell into the river.“help!help!”I cried.But no one was paing by.When I finally stood up ,I found out that the water was only up to my kneens.Haha!I was safe.So from now on , I am going to learn to swim.我的成长故事演讲稿

On my way home

It was rainy day.On my way home from school.I saw an old man walking in the rain.I hurried up to him with an umbrella.I tried to hold the umbrella.But I was too short to hold it tall enough.Suddenly ,I saw the old man’s stick.I tied the stick to the handle of the umbrella and made it tall enough.The umbrella stopped the old man from getting wet.The old man thanked me ,and then we went home together.I was very happy.I told my mother about this.My mother praised me a good girl.
