My Views on Private Cars

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen:

In the recent years, private cars have been playing a vital role in people's daily activities.People enjoys this kind of convenient vihicle very much and people do benefit a lot from having their own cars.But at the same time, problems caused by the private cars in our country are often ignored by the public.In my personal opinion, private cars have many shortcomings and I sincerely believe that private cars should be discouraged in China.Here are my reasons:

First of all, there will be absolutely more traffic jams caused by the private cars.As we all know, China has the largest population in the world.That means if most of the Chinese families own their private cars, the bridges and highways will be always full of traffic in the rush hours.As we can imagine, this will lead much inconvenience to the Chinese residents.Secondly, because of the traffic jams, the air pollution and the noise pollution will be much more serious than it is now.Cities and towns will be destroyed by a large quantity of waste gas, and the living condition will be damaged by a great deal of noisy honks.Last but not least, private cars are consuming a large amount of petrol, and a great deal of energy are being wasted every day on private cars.From now on, if we don't save our oil resources immediately, then one day in the future, they'll be finally used up.As far as I'm concerned, I hate the air pollution and traffic jams caused by private cars.So if I was given the chance to choose, I would prefer the public transportation to private cars.Public transportation can obviously help to leen the air pollution and the traffic jams, and we could have a short relax on a bus or subway before starting a new day's work.All in all, in my personal point of view, private cars should be discouraged in China, and we can develop the public transportation to take the place of private cars.I believe in this way, most of the pollution and environmental problems will be easily solved;and I believe in one day, our living conditions will become better and better!Thank you very much!
