Good evening, ladies and gentlemen!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me this chance to speak to you today.My topic is to show gratitude to everything around us.First of all, I will appreciate the word called predestination.Many things in this world find neither an answer nor a proper explanation.For example, why should I enroll this university? Why do I come here to make a speech for you? Well, People remain puzzled in spite of their great effort to understand these endle questions, but whatever it is, I am here, around you, because of “predestination”.After that, I deeply feel grateful to this school.Here comes the school anniversary.I am unconsciously that our school is sixty years old.I can never forget the days when I stepped into my university.I was impreed by its garden-like campus, its enthusiastic students and especially its learning atmosphere.I fell in love with it at once.Under such circumstance can I learn many things out of book.However, the beautiful thing about learning is that nobody can take that away from you.And learning isn’t ending here.The world has many leons to teach us.I consider the world, this Earth, to be like a school and our life the clarooms.The secret I’ ve learned to getting ahead is being open to the leons, leons from the grandest university of all, that is the universe itself.Last but not least, thanks to parents, parents worked and sacrificed all their lives.Please remember that through you they are realizing the dream they never had.Thank them, let them know how much you love them, and hug them hard.We have a special obligation to do something important with the chance they never had.I dare to say that everyone, you and me, has the right and the duty to show our gratitude to the world.Only by doing so can we achieve our human ultimate concern.Under the same sky, we enjoy the same sunshine and appreciate the same love due to thanking and caring each other.Thank you for your listening.(357words)
