Honorable judges, fellows and friends: good evening.Today my topic is to be who you can be.In the final competition tonight, compared to the semifinal, I am standing on a larger stage, watched by a larger group of audience.Moreover, I have a better understanding of the speech topic “my time to shine”.There are many outstanding people shining in different fields in our society.Let’s take Obama as an example.I mean there are thousands of African-Americans out there who has an African father and an American mother or vice versa, but there is only one African-American president.Have you ever thought about the question: How do this people pave their way to who they can be?

In other words, what makes one capable to shine?

Well, my answer is CFA.Chartered financial analyst? Relax, it’s not about the 1000-dollar examination.Forgive my little joke here.F stands for find, A for act and C for continue.Let’s take the first step, FIND, find your suitable career.My English name is Audrey from Audrey Hepburn, here I would like to share her story with you.At the very first Audrey wanted to be a ballet dancer.However, Audrey was too tall to be the principle dancer.In order to earn a living, she then chose to be an actre.Later as we all know, a new star began to shine in Hollywood.That is the power of finding a suitable field.Second, I ACT.There is a famous line in the movie : life is just like a box of chocolate, you never know what you are gonna get.Some people in this society attribute their failures to unspoken rules.They don’t even let out a try before giving up.Miracles goes to those who are brave enough to take actions.Finally I CONTINUE.To emphasize the importance of continuing, I can quote a definition in calculus.Again relax, forget about the sin … focus on the limitation.When you are computing the formula, x is never equal to zero or infinity, but when it goes into limit, it were as if zero or infinity.A profound philosophy lies in it.Perfection never exists in the real world, but when you continue going along the way, you will be very close to perfection, as if you were perfect.It’s my shine time tonight.But I am also sure that this stage is not my destiny, it is justmy starting point, and it also can be yours.I am determined to travelling the road from who I think I am to who I can be, with CFA in my mind.Thank you very much!
