Hello, everyone!My name is Guorui.I’m from Cla 1 , Grade 8.My favorite festival is the Spring Festival.It’s the most important festival in China.It’s usually in January or February.It’s to celebrate the lunar calendar’s new year.On New Year’s Eve , All family members get together to have a big meal.People eat dumplings, fish, meat and other delicious food.In many places dumplings are the most traditional food.At the same time, everyone celebrates to each other and watch the Spring Festival Gala on TV.At about 12 o'clock，people like to set off fireworks to welcome the New Year.The whole sky is lighted brightly.It’s very beautiful.At that time, children are the happiest, because they can have delicious food and wear new clothes.They can also get some red packets from their parents , grandparents , aunts and uncles.Chinese New Year red represents luck.People put New Year scrolls on the wall for good fortune.The Spring Festival lasts about 15 days long.During this time, people can have a good rest or visit relatives and friends.They often say “Happy New Year!” to each other.They always have a good time together!The Spring Festival is great ,I love it very much.What about you ?
