Once I took part in an activity named “Develop your potential”.I have already forgot most content of the activity.But what is still clear to me is that the host ask us a question “If today is the last day of your life, what are you about to do today?”
Some people may want to have a travel to a place that they love for a long time ,also there are some people who want to have a big lunch with their lovers, others may want to go back home to Visit the parents.But do you ever think in this way? If you can do these things in your last day of life ,why not do these things when you are living a good life?
Steve Jobs ever made a speech , in the speech he said “When I was 17, I read a quote that went something like: “If you live each day as if it was your last, someday you'll most certainly be right.” It made an impreion on me, and since then, for the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: “If today was the last day of my life, what I am about to do today?” And whenever the answer has been “No” for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something.Remembering that I'll be dead soon is the most important tool I've ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life.Because almost everything – all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrament or failurewhich is living with the results of other people's thinking.Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice.And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.They somehow already know what you truly want to become.Everything else is secondary”
