Good afternoon, everyone.Today my topic is “What We Cannot Lose in the Modern Society.” With the fast development of economy,however,there exist many dishonest phenomenons in our society.There are still some people who sacrifice their honest for their own interest.For

example,some college students cheat in the exams in order to get high scores;A number of doctors treat their patients with unneceary and expensive money;and many merchants play tricks on consumers,and sell products in poor-quality.Obviously,It’s high time that those poor matter should be changed.There is no doubt that being honest is not only beneficial for individuals but also for the whole society.To be honest is what we cannot lose in the modern society.Firstly,honesty is neceary to get along with friends.Only honest people can be truly trusted by others and win more friends and also can get more chances of cooperation.Secondly,honest is helpful for thebusine to make more profits.And it can establish a good image for the company.Thirdly,honesty,which is the traditional virtue of the Chinese people,can make our life easier and more harmonious.Thanks to honesty,our society can be become more stable and harmonious.If life is a sailing ship ,honesty will be the sail.If life is a running train ,honesty will be the wheels.If life is a long journey ,honesty will be the backpack that should be taken along all the way.Let’s pick up our “backpack”------honesty ,and start the wonderful journey.
