Good morning everyone!My name is z x y.it is my honor to be here and share my topic desertification with you.First of all , let’s start with my journey.Last year I went to Inner Mongolia.At the first sight of the blue sky,white clouds,the endle graland,and many sheep.I could not help crying “what a beautiful scenery” However, when we went deep into Inner Mongolia,my body felt cold and my heart was even colder.Green was gone,desert was everywhere.and everything was lifele.NO flowers!NO gra!NO trees!NO sheep!That is desertification ,a type of land degradation!it looks like a huge mouth swallowing green.As we know china’s deserted land area is 2 million 622 thousand square kilometers,accounting for 27.4% of the land area ,and nearly 400 million population is heavily affected ,causing 54 billion 100 million yuan of direct economic loes.How great the danger of land desertification is!So what can we do ? First we should save water and use water well.this requires our government to develop water-save agriculture.second we should try to use more energy and fewer disposable chopsticks,plastic bags to protect our earth.Finally ,we should plant more trees and cut le ones.In a word, desertification has become such a big threat that it requires everyone’s action.So let is start from each of us!Let’s act now!Thank you for listening!
