It is my great honor to stand here.The topic of my speech is the meaning of life.It means so much to us.Look up life in the dictionary, we will find that life means what we are experiencing during the time between birth and death, both physically and mentally.It can not give us the meaning of life in the dictionary.We must give it a meaning on our own.I think the most important thing in life is our attitude towards it.Thousands of people have tried different ways of treating life, and some succeeded, some failed.Attitude is everything.Life is equal to treat everyone in the world.Do not complain anything in this world.If you complain, you are upsetting yourself.Do not compare yourself with anyone in this world.If you compare, you are insulting yourself.Life laughs at you when you are happy.Life smiles you when you are happy.Life salutes you when you make others happy.We must have a active attitude towards life.I think this is the real meaning of life.As I.Berlin said, life is ten percent what you make it and ninety percent how you make it.Thank you.When dreams come true As the song goes “ My future isn’t a dream.” I love the song which brings me confidence when singing it every time.I believe that all our dreams can come true if we have courage to pursue them.When I was young my father always asked me what I would be in the future.Sometimes I found it very hard to give a certain reply.“ I want to be a doctor.” “ I want to be a teacher.” and “ I ’d like to be a scientist!” Many of these answers are perhaps very childish and ridiculous.But I never think they are far away.Here's what I want to do.I plan to study hard bacause I want to go to a school overseas.My dream school is Harvard University.There are some direction.I might be a teacher,a doctor or a scientist.No matter what,I'll be an expert at what I do so i can be useful to society.I want to be rich,too.I want to make a lot of money so my family will be proud of me.I also like to travel,so I want to visit every country and see the world.I hope to meet many people and make many friends.I am determined to make my dreams come true.I know it won't be easy,but when I do make my dreams come true,I'll be the happiest person in the world.
