As we know, you have to learn how to fly much more independently instead of under your parents’ considerate protection when you get into college, which also means you will come acro enormous questions that should be solved by yourself.From my point of view, those main problems can fall into three parts.First of all, the complicated relationship.For one thing, you have to know how cultural differences function in your relationship and respect them.In addition, college students spend le time studying together owing to different courses’ choosing, which requires us to devote more energy to building relationship.For the other thing, it is also vital to communicate with your parents often by using mobile phones or other tools.Secondly, the temptations.The college serves us a more relaxed environment mixed with other temptations such as the Internet, alcohols and so on.What’s more, the college teachers won’t compel you to study like before, you doze off or play cell phone in cla, and you flee up the morning cla because you get up too late.Such too frequent behaviors will cripple your paion and enthusiasm towards life, so it is eential for us to resist these temptations and insist pursuing our own goals.Thirdly, the balance between study and work.Most of us will choose to take a part time job to earn the extra money or just to exercise ourselves.But it is significant to keep a relatively balanced relationship between them since I always regard the study as our main task, so my principle is adjusting work to follow the schedule of study.In conclusion, whatever iues we meet or miseries we suffer from, confront the hash reality head on, what we can do is remembering the past, living in the present and looking forward to the future.Self-Images Ladies and Gentlemen: it is my honor here to give the speech, today my topic is self-images.It may be universally acknowledged that analyzing oneself is really tough owing to the complexity of humanity and individuals’ different perspectives.Thus, I am here just tried to share some trivial opinions on myself.Frankly speaking, I never take myself as a beauty if it is weighed by my standards, because I am short and not slender, and my figure is not hot with some extra fatty accumulated in my thigh.From my appearance, you can tell I am an average girl, but I am always mistaken by others as a high school student since I look so little.Although the truth is, I am a sophomore and I do hope I can be mature enough so I won’t be childlike.When talking about my personalities, I can pay myself some general definition such as easy-going, happy-go-luck and interest-oriented.I prefer to do something more changeable rather than some dull and mechanical things, by the way, the subject I love most is right English.Thus, I am dreamed of finding a job related with it.Of course, there are some shortcomings that cannot be ignored by me.As far as I am concerned, I lack courage and persistence on the way of pursuing goals, I may choose to give up on halfway or even earlier.And also, I find myself easily to jump on the bandwagon when it comes the time I need to make some decisions, in other word;I seem to should develop more independent thoughts than follow others’ course.Above all are my awarene about myself, I speak them sincerely though they are not so comprehensive.At last, thank you for your listening.Compliment Ladies and Gentlemen: it is my honor to deliver the speech here, today my topic is compliment.As we know, a good compliment can lead to good relationship among people especially opposite genders, so how to pay a compliment is very important in our life, the following are some tips and warnings on compliments.Usually when we try to compliment people, we should decide what the purpose is, such as making him feel confident or telling how great he looks.Then we look into their eyes and speak out our compliments with smile.During this proce, we can take hints from surroundings and talk about things people take pride in.From my point of view, the basic rule of compliment is being sincere, not fake.Remember it is not a flatter so that you should focus on something you really like, don’t just say anything.And then, keep it general and precise.On one hand, it is always easier to be vague to avoid making people uncomfortable;on the other hand, we should make it short and accurate rather than ramble on how great his hair is or something like this.Last but not least, it is very important to smile and sound emotional to make your compliment succeful.There are also some tips can’t be skipped.The first one, don’t over do it which may get annoying and make you look desperate.And then, use different words and sentence structure, or you may sound dull and blunt as if you are reading from a script.Last, try to simply say something nice and if you cannot come up with nice words, say nothing at all.Of course there are many other aspects we need to pay attention to when we compliment, above are what I think the most important ones.That’s all, thank you.
