Harmony between Men and Nature Good afternoon everyone:

Today I feel really honored to get this opportunity to stand here and give my speech.What I am going to talk about is the harmony between men and nature.Long time ago, with little knowledge and poor technology, human beings only had little effects on nature, so they showed their respect and love to nature in order to survive.As time goes by, with the amazing development in exploration of the earth, people realized that they had no need to show respect to nature like their ancestors any more.Even some of them thought they could be the masters of nature.That’s when people began to make use of nature resources to make the biggest profit.However, something out of people’s expectation happened.They found that nature resources were not endle and the environment became worse due to their greedy pursuit of nature.Finally someone realized that there should be the harmony between men and nature.On the one side, people could still make profits with nature resources.On the other side, people could be aware of the importance of nature protection.And now I will share some of my dreams with you.I have a dream.While producing goods, each merchandiser in the world would spare no effort to do the least harm to nature.I have a dream.The governments would shoulder their responsibilities to improve the environment conditions in all countries.I have a dream.Every single person would treat nature with love and respect so that our earth would no longer cry.There is no denying that we’ll find the harmony between men and nature as long as everyone tries his or her best to do it.That’s all my speech today.Thanks for listening.
