女士们、先生们：Ladies and Gentlemen,早上好！很高兴今天我们在这里欢聚一堂，共同研讨亚洲奥林匹克运动会的进步与发展。首先，请允许我代表中国国家体育总局和中国奥委会对第24届亚奥理事会代表大会的召开表示衷心的祝贺！对各位的到来表示热烈的欢迎！Good morning!It is indeed delightful for us to meet here together to discu the progre and development of the Olympic movement in Asia.First of all, please allow me, on behalf of the General Administration of Sport of the P.R.C.and the Chinese Olympic Committee, to extend my hearty congratulations on the spening of the 24th General Aembly of the OCA.I offer all of you my warmest welcome!
我们高兴地看到，亚洲体育正在崛起，竞技体育水平不断提高，已引起国际体育界的广泛关注。亚奥理事会团结了拥有世界最多人口大州的各奥委会，为提高亚洲体育水平、维护亚洲体育界的利益、促进世界体育运动的发展作出了应有的贡献。我们相信，在亚奥理事会的领导下，亚洲的体育运动将会取得新的进步，为亚洲的和平与繁荣做出更大的贡献。
With the greatest pleasure we have seen that sports undertakings in Asia are on a rise, with the level of competitive sports being steadily heightened.This has already been extensively acknowledged by the international sports family.The OCA have united the various NOCs in the continent with the largest population in the world, and has made due contributions to improving the level of sports in Asia, safeguarding the interest of Asian sports, and promoting the development of world sports.We believe that under the leadership of DCA, sports in Asia will achieve greater progre, which will further benefit the peace and prosperity of the whole continent.受亚奥理事会委托第24届亚奥理事会代表大会今天在广州隆重举行。广州是2010年亚运会的举办城市。广东省政府和广州市政府对大会的筹备组织非常重视，投入了大量的人力物力，付出了辛勤的劳动。借此机会，请允许我代表中国奥委会，向为此次代表大会顺利召开而无私奉献的同志们表示衷心的感谢！
Entrusted by the OCA, Guangzhou is hosting the grand 24th General Aembly of the OCA today.Guangzhou is the host city of the 2010 Asian Games.The provincial government of Guangdong and the municipal government of Guangzhou have attached great importance ot the organization of the Games, and have made huge investments of aets and manpower into this task.It is an arduous work for them.On behalf of the COC, I would therefore like to take this opportunity to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all the people who have workded so hard to make the present General Aembly a great succe.中国奥委会市亚奥理事会大家庭的成员之一，长期以来积极参与亚奥理事会的各项活动，热情投身于亚洲奥林匹克运动，并愿意为亚洲体育运动的发展做出自己应有的贡献。本届代表大会期间，我们将非常高兴地同各国和地区奥委会代表一道，共商亚洲奥林匹克运动的发展大计，为推动亚洲奥林匹克运动的发展，为增进亚洲各国人民之间的团结和友谊而做出新的努力。谢谢！
The COC is a member of OCA family.We have always taken an active part in all activities of the OCA and have ardently devoted ourselves to the Olympic movement in Asia.We are willing to make our due contributions to the development of Asian sports.During this General Aembly, we look forward to discuing with dear delegates the future of the Olympic undertakings in Asia, and making new efforts to promote the development of sports in Asia and enhance the solidarity and friendship among the Asian people.Thank you!
