English debate CG1 Thank you, Mr.Speaker, ladies and gentlemen, happy to see you at the final round.First., I want to tell you that the upper house mainly talk about one thing whether it is harmful or beneficial to the children.And I will further talk about from the international Olympics.Before I talk about my stanchion, I will deconstruct the case of opening opposition by two rebuttals.What the opening opposition told us is just one thing that it is harmful, why, because the children’s choice is coerced.What we are talking about today in the status quo is that nowadays many children are trained to be athletes, nowadays they have been already trained at their young age when they are still in school, and while in school they can still receive education, this is the second aumption that we will neglect the education of those children, we donnot believe so because that we have required time for studying for the chidren athletes who still should be in school, and also talk about that our policy actually will only focus on the physical ability, we donnot believe so, because while select the best athlete of Olympics, we select the best one with the best physical ability and the best psychological ability.We will choose the one with the competition of the two things.The opening opposition also tell us that there will be no other choices and the choice of being an athlete will be irresponsible and it will ruin the life if they fail.We belive that when you choose to do something, you have to take the risk, when you fail, this goes exactly the adult athletes.We believe it is fair, it is justfy, and my last rebuttal goes to the POI from the closing opposition, they talked about it was unfair for adult athletes, because the small body shape will be beneficial in competing.We believe that there is no absolutely total fairne in any competition.Why, because for adults, they still have different sizes of their bodies.So we believe that the POI cannot stand.Ladies and Gentlemen, my extensions will be about what is the function of international Olympics.We believe that there are tow functions, because the upper house mainly talk from the individuals, from the children.The first function is to integrate the whole world, to integrate the international society.The second function is to select the best as any other competition.Now let us move on to my first extension about integrating the whole world.The father of modern Olympic Games said “I hope that one day no matter you are woman or man, no matter you are rich or poor, you have the opportunity to compete in Olympic Games.” Today I want to add one point that no matter you are young or old, you have the opportunity to compete in Olympic Games.We believe that the Olympics is an occasion to integrate the whole world, to integrate different groups of the world.And we believe that in the status quo it fails to do so, because for the adults they have the opportunity, but for the children, they have no opportunity at all to compete with adults, and for to decide which one is better.They are deprived of such right.And at the first place, we believe that if it fails to integrate the whole society, how our policy can integrate different goups of the society.For one thing,we give a level playing field for children and adults to compete with each other, and we can select the best, this is to bring them together and compete with each other together.This is fairne, this is competition.And secondly, how to integrate, because childhood is a special time in one’s life that it easily influenced by the outside environment, and if we pa our policy, we are telling them that no matter where you come from, you can compete in the same level, we are telling the children who are future of the world, that competition is about fairne, and that every person from different parts of the world will compete together, no matter what your color is, no matter which country you are from, no matter you are poor or rich.We believe that it will teach the children everyone is the same.And we believe this is exactly the function of the Olympics.The second function of the Olympics as any other competition I have mentioned is to select the best.We compete to select the fastest, the highest, and the strongest.Ladies and gentlemen, so we believe that it is justify.For the country, in domestic level, first to select the best, so what we are trying to say is our motion is not only to select the the children we are giving them the opportunity to compete with adults.And then,among them,we can choose the most suitable who can represent our country and win the honor and medals for our country.So ,what I’v told you today is children’s choice is never coerced, we believe that they are mature enough and we’re talking about those with their willingne to compete, to take part in the Olympics.We also told you that the function of Olympics is first to integrate the different groups of our society, and children is very important part for us to tell them to do so,to set them examples, to allow them to complete with different kinds of people ,with different colors from the world ,We give them such an expreion that everyone is equal,everyone should be integrated in one world and we also told you that the function of Olympics is to select the best,and we’re trying to do so.So for the integration of our whole world,for the benefits of the children,and also,we believe that,for the honor of one’s own country ,we’re very very proud to propose this motion..Rebuttal: 1.As for the Opening Opposition mentioned that the children’s choice is coerced.(She did not illustrate it in details.)

2.As for the Opening Opposition mentioned that the Proposition will neglect the education of those children, CG1 said that they have required time for studying for the chidren athletes who still should be in school.3.As for the Opening Opposition mentioned that the Proposition’s policy actually will only focus on the physical ability, CG1 said that they select the best one with the best physical ability and the best psychological ability.4.As for the Opening Opposition mentioned that there will be no other choices and the choice of being an athlete will be irresponsible and it will ruin the life if they fail, CG1 said that when you choose to do something, you have to take the risk.5.As for the POI from the closing opposition, CG1 said they believe that there is no absolutely total fairne in any competition.Extension: What is the function of international Olympics.1.The first function is to integrate the whole world, to integrate the international society.2.The second function of the Olympics as any other competition I have mentioned is to select the best.Conclusion:1.children’s choice is never coerced, and they do this with their willingne.2.CG1 restate her two arguemets: the two functions of Olympics.POI: For many countries, like China, Olympic athletes are profeional and full time, so that is why you can be trained and study at the same time, but you cannot go to the Olympics and studying at the same time.That is why the education will be hard.Response: Got you point, but you donnot say why, and you donnot give us any evidence that China or any other countries will totally neglect the education of the children athletes.And we do believe that adult athlete will spend time studying.CG2 Good morning,ladies and gentlemen,dear adjudicators,guests and Mr speaker.I know that London will hold the next Olympic Games.And I do hope that will be a huge succe.But unfortunately I feel a little bit sorry because no children under aged will be allowed to take part into the great banquet of all human beings.Now first I'll leave a rebuttal.To the second extention of the closing opposition.They mentioned that the Olympic Games would not supposed to be the competition it is also a proce of enjoying, but we fail to hear any analyse why the children could not enjoy this kind of proce,could not enjoy this competition and gain the education from this international banquet.Now ladies and gentlemen,two main clashes of today's debate.The first main clash is harm given by the opposition side.So from all we have heard from the opposion is all different kinds of harm that has been given would be led by this policy.But ladies and gentlemen the first harm that they have given to us is so-called coerced choice.Ladies and gentlemen, from their side,they think that children were pushed forward by their parents,they were pushed forward by the states because they were finantially and ecomically depend on the state but actually we say no.why? First we think that most of the parents would take care of the children, will think for the benefits of the children.If my mommy,my farther think that it would be too hard or great preure for me to take part in this kind of Olympic Games definitely she will deny it.And the second the governments and parents are not so cold blooded as the opposition has decribed.They are not killers.They are not murders to push you forward just for gold just for sliver medal or something like this.They also consider the health of the next generation for a lot of officials we would agree that point is right.And the next harm proposed by the side is that the education harm will be brought by this side.It's ridiculous to hear that the future of this youth athelates will be totally ruined if they took part in the International Olympic Games.They claim that if they took part in the Olympic Games after they gained the medal.If they lose, they would have no future because they do not receive educations in this proce in this so-called golden age but they forget that one of the status quos in China that most of youth atheletes both receive the physical training and the education at the same time.Ladies and gentlemen,even for those teams who prepare for the Olympic Games they have the limited amount of time to receive the education and the second response to them is that we are living in a society that calls for lifelong study which means that we do not only study during this period of time.We hear a lot of people who are succeful even after the so-called golden age.They gain their knowledge through their whole life efforts just like Mr Lo who is not the debate profeor in the very first beginning.And the third harm given by the society that what if they lose this kind of competition,they are going to face the huge preure from the society,first we think it is immoral for the whole society to condemn a young and innocent athlete who took part in this international competitions for your country on behalf of China we think first place it is morally wrong.and we should never ask the children to make the change so better we our sugggestion is to encourage the whole society more tolrence and accept this kind of thing to happen.And the last harm given by this side is so called the physical harm and psyclogical harm.For the physical harm they mainly talk about the intensive training.ladies and gentlemen we do believe that for those athletes who want to win the Olympis Games there might be some kind of harms.It is just like those Korean injuries, for those interpreters their thraot tends to be bad.For those basketball players their ankles tend to be bad.It is what the sacrifice, and we do believe that it is the same with adults and young atheles.Once you strive for something,once you struggle for something,definitely there is going to be something that you need to sacrifice.Second that is based on their own willingne.We don't think there is anything wrong with this kind of things.And intensive training is actually could be better regulated if we pa this motion because the government will definitely in the this.which one?
