Would you like to …? Teaching objectives: By the end of the cla, students should be able to: 1.remember some new words and expreions 2.name different kinds of buildings 3.talk about different types of homes 4.know about the ads: wanted and for rent Teaching procedures: Step1.Review a)Review the words the students have learned.Teacher gives the Chinese meaning and let the cla say the words loudly in English.b)Ask the students to describe the claroom.S1:There is/are … S2: ……
c)Teacher asks students to describe the rooms, furniture and home items in their own house.Teacher will choose 3~4 students.Step2.Presentation Show one of the three pictures.T: What’s this? Who knows? Look at it, …,…,it’s a/an ….Then show the rest of the pictures with teacher’s introduction.T: Which one do you like best?
