Objectives:

1.Instructional objectives:

By the end of the cla, students are able to: 1)consolidate direct speech and indirect speech by rewriting the sentences in text

2)learn and use some expreions or useful phrases about agreement and disagreement and students can show their own opinions confidently by debating and group work 3)know some common problems friends may face with and come up with constructional advice by discuion and listening 2.Educational objectives: By the end of the cla, students are able to: 1)learn to cherish their precious friendship and improve the way they relate to friends and others 2)gain some interpersonal skills and solve problems about friendship properly 3)turn to teachers or other elders when encountering problems they can’t solve 3.Personal objectives:

By the end of the cla, teacher can: 1)close the distance with students by sharing the similar experience 2)keep orders in heated group discuion while motivating students 3)strengthen students’ interest in learning English by discuion the topic tied to students daily life

Procedures and Time Allotment 【Lead-in】

1.There are two kinds of friendship, one is GeMen, the other is GuiMi.What do you think they usually do together?

For example: go to the dining hall together, play computer games, go shopping together, play basketball do homework, go to net-bar… talk goip(write down on the blackboard)

2.if a girl and a boy do the same things as above, do you think what kind of relationship they are in? Couples
