Enable the Ss to listen, read and say words and sentences: right, left, straight, sir Turn right!Turn left!Go straight!Excuse me, Sir.Where is the zoo/park…You’ll see it.Main and difficult points: Enable to use the sentences to ask and answer the way.Teaching procedure: Step 1 Revision 1.Say the chant “Hello”

2.Make a phone call according to the teacher.Step 2 Presentation 1.Teach: right, left, turn right, turn left, go straight by acting.2.Act it out: First T says, Ss do.Then Ss say ,T does and Ss do.Step 3 Play a game Get one S from each group to the front.Other Ss say the orders, the four Ss act and see which group is the best.Step 4 Presentation 1.Teach : Excuse me, Sir.And Where is the zoo/ park/…..It’s on the right / left.2.Listen to the tape in Part 1 and repeat.Then ask one to put it into Chinese.3.Practise in pair then act it out.Step 5 Ask and answer 1.Get the Ss to look at the pictures on P43.Then make dialogs in pairs.Pay attention to “they, them” 2.Act then out.Step 6 Sing a song “ Follow Me” Step 7 Homework

1.Learn to sing the song fluently.2.Listen to the tape and repeat fluently.3.Use the language to communicate after school.
