PEP4 Unit6 At a Farm 第四课时

教学内容:B Let’s learn Let’s chant

C Task time 教学目标:1)能听、说、认读单词:potato,tomato,onion,cucumber, carrot.2)能简单描述所学蔬菜的颜色和特点,如The potatoes are big.The tomatoes are red.3)能理解、跟说Let’s chant

4)完成Task time中的内容

教学重难点:1)掌握有关蔬菜的单词以及它们的复数形式

2)potato,tomato的复数形式以及cucumber,carrot的读音 教学过程:

一、Warm-up/Review1、Greetings2、Sing the song : Mary has a little lamb3、Mary has a little lamb, what do you have?让学生说说自己有的动物,复习巩固旧知。

二、Presentation1、教学farm。Oh,you have so many animals!Look, I have some animals too.出示动物图片。Can you gue,where are they?(用做选择的方式让学生说说这些动物会在哪里,教师提示:on the playground? In the garden……)教学单词farm。

2、教学cucumber。I have a farm, and I have 5 seeds.I put them on my farm, they will be taller and taller.Oh, look here.Can you gue what's this(让学生猜猜其中一颗种子长大后会结出什么)出示单词cucumber。教师对cucumber进行教学,在黑板上贴cucumber的图片,边贴边说one cucumber,two……引导学生说出cucumbers,出示单词cucumbers。T:Look at the cucumbers, they’re fresh.I like cucumbers, Do you like cucumbers? 学生集体作答。

3、教学carrot。接上一环节。Wow, there are so many students like cucumbers, do you know what does the rabbit like?(先让学生猜一猜兔子喜欢吃什么)之后Let’s ask the rabbit together ok?(全班一起问问rabbit:rabbit,rabbit,what do you like?)兔子回答:I like carrots.用兔子的回答引出单词carrot。教师对carrot进行教学。教师边贴carrot的图片到黑板上,边说one carrot, two carrots(引导学生说出carrots)对carrot的复数形式进行教学,并将单词贴在黑板上。The rabbit likes carrot, I like carrots too.So I can say: I like carrots, they're orange.What can you say? 教师给出语言框架,让学生来说一说I like carrots, they’re _____.(yummy, nice, pretty, good……)教师奖励carrot,提示让学生贴在自己的农场上。

4、教学tomato。接上一环节,教师请同学来说: I like carrots, what do you like?当学生说出tomato时,教师对tomato进行教学。之后教师用边贴别说的形式教学tomato的复数形式tomatoes。教师出示农场,look ,so man tomatoes, I can make tomato juice, so we can say, tomatoes are juicy(教学juicy)。Look at the tomatoes, they’re juicy, so I like tomatoes, what do you like?(让学生用我们学过的单词来说一说)。

5、教学potato。Oh, there are so many students like tomatoes, look tomatoes are happy now.(教师给tomatoes画上笑脸)。Listen, what are the tomatoes saying?(播放录音:I have a friend, there are five letters in his name.I will tell you a part of his name, look..so can you gue, who is my friend?)让学生来猜一猜谁是tomato的朋友,揭示单词potato。让学生通过观察tomato的复数形式,来说以说potato的复数形式是什么。Oh ,I don’t like tomatoes, what about you?教师对喜欢potato的同学进行奖励。Boys and girls, please look at the potatoes, they’re_______.(big, yellow, tasty, yummy……)教师出示语言框架,请学生来填一填,说一说,在学生说好之后,教师给予反馈:Yes ,they’re……and they’re……。

6、教学单词onion。Ok, Look, they are tomatoes and they are potatoes, what's this? Is this a potato? Is this a tomato?(遮住onion,让学生看onion的一部分来猜是什么)之后对onion的复数进行教学。Oh, I don’t like onions , it's smelly(教师做动作),what about you?若学生也说I don’t like onions教师追问what do you like?

7、Practice。接上一环节,用what do you like? I like……这一句型对已学单词进行巩固,教师在学生回答之后及时给予奖励,让学生贴到自己小组的农场中。

8、T: Ok, boys and girls, are you tired now? Do you want to play a game? Gueing game: what’s this? 出示部分遮住的蔬菜或者蔬菜的生长过程,让学生猜猜是什么?

9、T: Look, there are so many things on my farm.(课件出示农场中的蔬菜)。

I like cucumbers and tomatoes.So I can say: Look at the cucumbers,they’re fresh and the tomatoes are big.What can you say?(出示句型框架,让学生自己练习说一说),之后出示A: Look at the……,they’re……

B:Yes, and the ……are……(教师示范,将自己刚才对蔬菜的描述改变成对话的形式,然后请同学和老师来对话一下,之后请同学两人一小组来进行对话表演)表扬之后,教师可问学生喜欢的蔬菜,对其进行奖励。

三、Consolidation1、教师创设情景:My farm is beautiful now.Look who is coming ?(课件出示Mike和Amy)Listen they’re talking?播放Mike 和Amy对话,并出示对话的句型框架,之后请同学们按照这样一个框架,同桌来编一编对话。
