五下 Unit 4 Seeing the doctor
一、单元分析：
本单元主要话题是谈论看病。课文通过苏海和医生，迈克和牙医的对话来理解句型：What’s wrong with---? What should---do? 及其回答。教师可以充分利用书本材料进行教学与操练，也可以让学生们用should和should not 给出建议。教师可引导学生结合以前学过U7和U8的词汇和句型进行扩展表述。本单元中，学生需了解摄氏和华氏温度的区别。这也是英美国家文化的一个内容。
二、单元目标： 知识目标
1.在课文情景中学生能够听懂、会说、会读对话中出现的词汇：brush one’s teeth, drink water, eat sweets, have a rest, take medicine.2.学生能够谈论看病的话题,针对不同的情境活用日常用语should和should not 给出建议。
5.能理解并掌握字母ch 的发音规律，熟记例词。
能力目标
1.学生能正确理解Story time, 并能小组合作表演对话；
2.学生能熟练运用本单元所学的词句在不同的情境中谈论看病这一话题；
3.学生能正确理解、朗读Cartoon time中的故事，能读懂其中的趣味之处，能在教师的指导下表演故事；
4.通过小组合作讲述故事内容，并能够添加文本内容进行文本扩充； 5.学生能了解摄氏和华氏温度的区别。
情感目标
1.让学生体会到阅读故事的乐趣，培养学生阅读的兴趣。2.让学生体会到运用英语解决实际问题的能力。
三、教学重点：

二、教学重点: 1.能正确运用所学单词和句型交流。

Ss answer.复习词汇 headache, fell cold, have a fever, 学生猜词toothache 2．Watch and read 3．Read and answer T: What advice does doctor give Su Hai? What advice does doctor give Mike? Ss underline the answers.老师让学生猜should 含义.学生学习词汇have a rest, drink water, take medicine, brush one’s teeth, shouldn’t eat sweets Finish Think and write on P38 Step 3.Practice 1.Try to read 注意brush, medicine, shouldn’t 的发音 a.read after the computer b.read after the teacher c.read together Read in different ways.2.Act in two 同桌之间互相表演。

五、教学过程： Step1.Revision A: 模仿朗读Story time B：组织表演 Step 2 Presentation 1.Check answers.两位学生通过对话给出P38Ask and answer 自己的答案。其他同学核对答案。教师板书面句型What’s wrong with Su Hai? What should he do? She has---

It can measure temperature.Step 2 Presentation &Practice 1.Listen and answer.What is LiuTao’s temperature?Does he have a fever? 摄氏度以1个标准大气压下水的冰点为0度，沸点为100度;华氏度以1个标准大气压下水的冰点为32度，沸点为212度。摄氏度和华氏度的换算关系为:摄氏度×9/5+32=华氏度。华氏度是以其发明者德国人Gabriel D.Fahrenheir(华伦海1681-1736)命名的，其结冰点是32°F,沸点为212°F。摄氏度的发明者是Anders Celsius(1701-1744)，其结冰点是0°C，沸点为100°C。华氏度与摄氏度的换算：
华氏度比摄影氏度小。一华氏度等于5/9摄氏度。从华氏度变成摄氏度的公式是：
（华氏度－32）× 摄氏度
也可以这样算：
（华氏度－32）×5÷9=摄氏度
将摄氏度换算为华氏度的公式是：摄氏度÷ ＋32=华氏度或者：摄氏度×9÷5＋32=华氏度32是个什么数字呢？
水的冰点是0摄氏度（0℃），是32华氏度（32℉），也就是说，用摄氏温度表测量，水到0°结冰；如果用华氏温度测量，水的结冰点是32°。
