一、教学设计理念
实践性强是英语学科的一个显著特点,英语课的实践性特点决定了它课堂教学活动形式的灵活多样,只有通过大量丰富的课堂教学活动,才能使学生掌握听说读写的基本技能,掌握英语语言的运用和交际用法。因此,要在不脱离所学的内容,又不局限于所学内容的前提下,充分设计好课堂丰富多彩的教学活动,使学生听说读写四个方面的技能得到全面的提升。
二、学情分析
所教学生进校时英语水平参差不齐,虽然经过一段时间的学习,但仍存在差距。要面向全体学生就要把开始的难度降到最低,帮助学生克服畏难心理。并且要把每个环节练透,作好层层的铺垫工作。
三、教学内容分析
本课是新目标英语八年级上册第9单元,教材以When was he born? 为中心话题,围绕着谈论名人的出生日期展开,学习和运用交际用语when was he/she born? He/She was born in„ 让学生学会谈论别人的出生日期。本课教学内容与学生的实际生活密切相关,易于引发学生运用简单的英语进行交际和交流。Section A的主要学习内容是:学习用when was he/she born?询问别人的出生日期。
四、教学目标

5、情感目标:使学生在语言交往中学会谈论名人,学会交换不同的看法,了解其它人的喜好,增进人与人之间的感情。

Step10 Homework 教学反思:
一个有经验的教师不仅要教给学生一定的知识,更重要的是要培养学生的自学能力。我们在指导学生预习时,一方面要考虑如何让学生在教师没有讲授新课之前依靠自身的努力获取新信息、新知识,寻找解决问题的方法。另一方面又要考虑如何指导学生把新课文,新材料与自己原来的旧知识联系起来。每学完一篇课文,一个单元之后,要指导他们进行自我总结,对这一课,这一单元的知识点、重点、难点进行归纳管理,因为学生不断地总结自己、检查自己正是形成自学能力的有效过程。
存在的不足: 1听力训练在教材中体现得不够充分。.2在游戏上与学生互动要加强。
3.使用小组合作学生的参与度不均衡及个别学生合作不主动。
