八年级英语下Unit 7 What’s the highest mountain in the world?

本课的教学内容是人教版八年级英语下册第七单元的第二课时。该课时为重点课时,主要是通过阅读策略的培养,提高学生的阅读能力。通过英语阅读,既能够练习学生的语音语调,便于提高英语听力,又能够积累语句,加强记忆,为英语写作打下牢固的基础,还可以组织学生进行创造性的实践练习来丰富学生的英语阅读空间。

本课阅读主要讲的是珠穆朗玛峰的相关知识和登山者为了梦想而努力奋斗的精神,这正是本课的情感目标。通过阅读学习新词汇和新句型,引导学生发现登山者身上自我挑战的精神。本课题材跟登山有关,知识面广,趣味性强,提高了学生的阅读兴趣。教学目标
