Unit 5 A let's talk

一、教材分析:

本单元重点学习食物、餐具名称及就餐用语。本课时通过一个情景会话,教给学生如何点餐、如何询问他人想吃什么食物的表达方法。本课的目标语句是What would you like? I‟d like some…,please.二、学情分析:

学生在三年级上册第五单元和下册第四单元中已经学习了有关食物、水果、饮料的单词和用餐时的一些基本用语,而本单元第一课时又学习了一些中餐食品的单词。

三、教学目标:

(一)知识与技能目标:

学生能够听、说“What would you like? I‟d like some…,please.”句式,学生能在创设的情景中准确流利地提问别人喜欢的食物,同时回答对方提出的问题,对于后进生能够朗读出对话。

(二)情感态度目标:

1.学生能够通过课堂活动,在师生、生生的交流与合作中增进彼此的情谊,并养成良好的学习习惯。

2.学生能够学习相关用餐礼仪,养成良好的饮食习惯。

(三)语用目标:

80%学生能在生活化的语境中使用所学语言进行交流,四、教学重点和难点:

教学重点:能听懂、会说 Let„s talk 中的对话。

教学难点:能听懂会说 What would you like for dinner ? I‟d like some…please.”并能在生活中恰当应用。Everything's ready中everything的读音

五、课前准备:

hamburger, hot dogs, French fries,rice, soup, beef, fish, noodles, vegetables等食物图片和单词卡片,课件,录音机等

六、教学流程:

(一)Warm-up

T: Everything's ready.And I'm ready!Are you ready? Ok!Let's begin!1.Greetings:

T: Hello,boys and girls.How are you today?

T:Today I'll bring you some delicious food,fruit, and drink.T:Look at the screen, say the words as quickly as you can.Are you ready? Ss: Ready.T: Let‟s go

2、Magic eyes:课件出示食物的图片及其单词,学生看图后快速说出单词。

【设计意图】复习旧知,铺垫新授

3.Free talk.T: I like ….(课件出示图片)What do you like?

S1:I like some fish and noodles.(问2-3个学生)(If you did a good job, I’ll give you a nice food picture.)(提出评价方式)

T: Here you are.Ss: Thank you.T: Do you like …?

S2: No.Can I have some…,please?

T: Sure.Here you are.(鼓励学生能用英语表达个人的想法)

(二)Presentation and pratice 1.T: I like rice and vegetables.So I'd like some rice and vegetables for dinner.课件:I like rice and vegetables.I‟d like(想要,想吃)some rice and vegetables.帮助学生理解含义,板书并教读句子I'd like some....2.T: I‟d like some rice and vegetables.What would you like?(引导学生猜测词句的含义)

板书What would you like?并教读。引导学生用I'd like some....(强调would发音,示范 would you的连读)

课件出示 Get to know :What would you like? 你想要/想吃什么?

What do you like? 你喜欢什么?(同过对比让学生加深印象)

【设计意图】学生在理解了I‟d like some rice and vegetables.意思的基础上借助板书,可以更好地理解What would you like?的含义并很自然的学会运用。对比教学What would you like? 和What do you like?能帮助学生更好的运用两个句子

3.由师生问答交流,开始转向学生间的交流

4.T: Well done!Boys and girls, Here‟s a menu.Can you order dishes?(CAI呈现 a menu and the question)Now,Let‟s go to Mike‟s family and see how to order dishes.【设计意图】:承接讨论,创设老师想请同学们去参加生日聚会情景,为导入对话做铺垫,讨论学生喜欢的食物后,引出本节课任务:在餐馆你知道如何为家人或朋友点餐?让学生带着任务去学习,体现了任务型教学法的运用。

T: This is Mike and his parents.We can see they are so happy from the pictures.What are they talking about?

5、通过课件配乐展示Mike幸福的一家,让学生感受文本是Mike一家的日常对话。

【设计意图】在任务的驱动下,引入课文的学习。通过问题的解答层层递进加深学生对于对话文本的理解,帮助学生更好的了解和掌握文本,扎实的处理文本

Step1、感知文本,学习新知。

T: What are they talking about? T and Ss share the video

Who can answer? animals ,colours ,dinner? S1: Dinner.T Show a card of “Dinner”.Read several times.Yeah!It‟s 6:30

Mike and his parents are going to have their dinner time.Then T writes the sentence on the board.教师领读句子What's for dinner?

Step2、问答练习 掌握文本

T: Here are two questions.watch again then circle the answers.课件出示问题:

1)What does dad ask Mike?

2)What would Mike like for dinner?

Ss watch the video then answer the two questions.T: Go on watching the video of picture 3

1)What does dad ask mom?

2)What would mom like for dinner? T: Do you have any questions?

T: Ok, let‟s read and imitate.Pay attention to your pronunciation and intonation

Step3、Listen and repeat.(教师适时教读学生读不出的句子)Step4、Read by yourself,please

Step5、T:Watch the video again and complete the dialogue.(课件)Mike: Mum, I’m hungry.________________ Mum: What would you like? Mike: _____________________________ please.Mum: ____________________________ Dad: Some fish and vegetables, please.Mum: ___________ Dad&Mike: Thanks!

6、Group work: Role-play reading.(奖励优秀合作团队)

【设计意图】 整体输入课文,让学生带着问题看录像能使学生集中注意力;挖空文本,有助于学生对课文的巩固,让学生分角色朗读课文,又一次熟悉对话内容,并能够同伴互助。7.Let‟s survey

T:Look at the form.(用食物投影展示小组的调查表)。They are healthy diet.Boys and girls, In daily life ,we should eat fats,oils and sweets le.eat vegetables,fruits,more.(课件出示合理膳食金字塔)T: Have a healthy diet, then you will be healthy.(三)Extension

1.T:Well done,Boys and girls.Now look at the screen。It‟s about 12.Jone is hungry。I‘m hungry,too.We can go to a reastarant.Here is a menu.Can you order dishes?

(出示课件)四人一小组,一人为服务员,其他三人为顾客,编一个对话,以下资料仅供参考,鼓励大家自由发挥。

W: Can I help you?(教师扮服务员询问顾客喜欢的食物并记录)A: Yes.W: What would you like? A: I‟d like some….W: OK.What would you like? B: I‟d like some….W: Here you are.A&B: Thank you.T:This group, you are volunteer,please…(为接下来的活动分组并选出组长)

T: Arrange the work of the leaders: Ask and record Ss: Order dishes in group.【设计意图】创设近似真实的生活化的情景,使学生在轻松愉快的氛围中掌握英语,激发学生的学习兴趣,并做到学以致用;小组活动的形式也有利于学生团结协作的精神。

2.德育教育:“Clear your plate”,start from me.(光盘行动,从我做起)

(四)Homework: 1)、Listen and repeat the dialogue,2)、Try to order dishes for your family.【设计意图】:首尾呼应完成任务。将课上所学与课后的作业巩固相联系,使英语学习真正体现其交际功能。
