(1)Gueing.通过猜测的游戏形式调动学生积极性,活跃课堂氛围。(2)Acting.通过对话表演的形式,可以培养学生运用语言的能力。(3)Dicuion.通过小组讨论, 明确在用中学、交流中学习的思想。

五、Teaching Methods(教学设计):
Step1 Revision Let students gue what an animal is it in the picture.What animal is it ?Introduce the students a picture of zoo and the animals in it.The animals in this unit are very interesting.(Intention: by introducing the a famous zoo and the animals , students must be very interested in it.Some of them had gone a zoo before, they remember them and want to expre their ideas and thought.At the same time ,they can quickly focus their attention on the topic.)T: Do you like these the zoo and the animals? Ss: ……
T: Do you want to know how to say them in English? T: Look at the picture do you know this animal? Ss: ……
T: Yes, it is cat, we are all familiar with it.Let's see next picture, it is a tiger , it lives in forest, it is very brave and strong.It is the king of forest.T: Now, look at this picture, it is a.......T :.......(Intention: students can review the words about animals they have learnt before and I can introduce the new words naturally by showing the photos)Step3 listening Students are asked to do the listening exercise 1a in page13.Then, I will check the answers with them.(Intention: in this step, students can consolidate the words they learned few minutes ago.)Step4 presentation

一.教材分析:
本单元主要是通过学习动物名称和常见的有关描述动物的形容词,学会表达个人对动物的喜好;学会运用why, what, where引导的问句,了解动物的外形、生活习性及主要产地,并能运用英语简单描述自己喜欢的动物,进一步培养和激发热爱动物、保护动物、维护生态平衡的朴素情怀。而本节只是学习动物名称和几个描述动物的形容词,并学会询问为什么及回答原因。
二.教学目标:
知识目标:
1、识记词汇:zoo, animal, tiger, elephant, koala,, panda, lion, , giraffe, cute, fun, smart, kind of2、掌握句型:Why do you like pandas? Because they’re cute.能力目标:1.熟练掌握动物名称的英语表达.2.能用合适的形容词来描述相关的动物.3.熟练谈论自己喜爱的动物并给出理由
情感态度目标: 学生通过谈论动物,从而学会关爱动物,爱护大自热。
文化意识目标:了解人与大自热的和谐发展。

反思:
本节课是这个单元的第一课时,它主要引导学生学习一些动物的英语名称、说出他们喜欢这些动物的理由以及怎样用英语当中的形容词去描述这些动物。这节课的主要任务是教授学生有关一些动物的词汇以及喜欢这些动物原因的句型。通过大量的、生动有趣的图片来展示一些动物和它们相对应的英文名称,以此激发学生学习本课的兴趣。同时,熟
练掌握基本词汇后,再进行本节课的基本句型的操练,将这些词汇贯穿于句型Do you like…?、Let’s….、Why do like …?中以加深学生对句型的熟练程度。通过pairwork活动的训练,学生输出语言的速度与强度有了明显的提高,尽管学生的言语表达还不是十分完美,但是学生参与本节课的热情非常高。这样又能加深学生对所学知识点的巩固与提高。本课以游戏形式的猜动物的名称,不但让学生进一步熟悉单词,而且可以提高学生参与课堂活动的兴趣。最后我让他们在同学中做一个调查,看看大家都喜欢些什么动物以及喜欢的原因,同学们踊跃参加,积极性非常地高。这个任务是对课堂的延伸和巩固。我带领着学生一步一个脚印,渐渐进入任务,让学生非 常自然的领会本课的知识点。任务的设计有趣又实用,学生的参与非常热烈。充分调动学生积极性。使他们感到学习语言的快乐,享受完成任务的成功的喜悦.
