一.教材分析
本课的教学内容是PEP第三单元What are you going to do? Part B第一课时Let’s learn和Let’s play部分。本单元的重点是学习英语中的重要语法现在进行时,现在进行时对六年级的学生来说有一定的难度。二.学情分析
六年级的学生学英语已经学了三年,有了一定的英语知识基础。虽然他们的理解力随着年龄的增长而提高,但是要记忆大量的词汇和句式,要把课本知识转化为技能,帮助学生克服困难。本课是本单元中第四课时。在A部分学习学生在基本掌握了句型What are you going to do? I’m going to… 后这一课时增加When are you going to do? This afternoon…这个句型,学生要很好掌握这两个句型有点难度,教师要帮助学生理解后一个句型和并让学生能够熟练运用这两个句型。三.教学目标
(一).知识目标:学生能听,说,读,写单词:post card,magazine,dictionary,comic book,newspaper五个单词,并能在日常生活中使用;学生能听懂,会说句型What are you going to do? I’m going to…和When are you going to do? This afternoon…。
(二)能力目标:学生能够熟练运用What are you going to do? I’m going to…这一句型和听懂,会说以及基本运用When are you going to do? This afternoon…这个句型,进而在实际生活中能够谈论将要做的事情以及将要在什么时候做事情。
(三).情感目标:学生能够与他人交流和谈论将来的计划和打算,培养他们与人沟通的能力。四.教学重点
学生掌握本课时的五个四会单词和两个句型的熟练运用,区分What和When的问答 五.教学难点
单词magazine 和dictionary的发音,熟练运用将来时并区分What和When的问答 六.教学准备
单词卡片,图片,录音机,磁带,PPT 七.教学步骤
Step1、热身(Warm-up)
1、Greeting.2、用录音机播放let’s chant “What are you going to do?”
(设计意图:通过歌谣的引入,可以调动学生的学习兴趣、吸引学生的注意力,为本课时进入主题作好了准备。)Step2、导入(Lead-in)T:Boys and girls ,Today I will give some presents to you.What are they? Can you gue? S: Yes S: May be some chock lets T: No
T : I give you some hints, something about study, you can read and you can gain knowledge from them.S:Books
T: OK.very good..Anything else? Only books?So, where I am going to buy some books ? S: Bookstore T: Good.what kinds of books can I buy in a bookstore and what else can I buy? Ok ,pleaselook at the ppt(设计意图:通过谈话法引入话题,比较自然而且有利于调动学生学习英语的兴趣)Step3、新课呈现及操练(Presentation & Practice)1.通过实物和图片呈现新单词
教师用PPT呈现bookstore,并且呈现post card ,magazine, dictionary, comic book, newspaper五个单词的图片,T: Which kind of book do you want? S:杂志
T:magazine.Ok, read after me.Magazine,(教师引导学生读三遍,并注意g的发音。教师以同样的方式引导并带读剩下的四个单词)2.操练单词
T: Look at the blackboard.Ok, read after me for three times.S: post card …
T:OK.very good.now let’s play a game.If I read Chinese, you should read English.If I read English ,you should read Chinese.ok? S: Ok.(设计意图:通过让学生反复操练,可以让学生巩固新学的单词,为下面的句型的学习做好准备)
3.呈现句子
T: the teacher read the word post card and say I am going to buy a post card in the bookstore.If you are in the bookstore, what are you going to do? S:I am going to buy…in the bookstore(教师可以适当引导学生去正确回答整个句子)T:I am going to buy an English book this afternoon.when are you going?(教师通过反问学生的方式把when are you going? 句型引导出来,学生可以感知I am going to buy…this afternoon 是用以回答when are you going?)
T:OK.Now ,please practice with your partner, one ask when are you going?and the other answer.I am going to buy an English book… 4.句子的运用
Step 4 Consolidation1、出示课件,教师把本课所学主要句型编成歌谣并领读。然后让学生自编歌谣。在学生说完后,对本节课学生的表现给予评价,并对优胜组给予表扬及鼓励。(设计意图:编成歌谣便于学生记忆,朗朗上口)Step 5 Homework
1.抄写五个单词八遍,两个句型两遍,并造句
2.下课回家学生自己找同伴用所学课的单词和句型练习对话
(设计意图:课内外衔接,课后的活动计划是课堂的延伸,课堂上学生完成听说读环节的操练,课后通过引导学生进行书写作业,能有效地巩固所学的新知识)板书设计:
