一.Teaching Aims 知识目标:要求学生掌握

1.单词 afraid cro leave between dream village villager ropeway 2.短语 between ···and···, come true, go on a ropeway, one eleven-year-old boy,be like.3.句型 It’s+adj+for sb+to do sth./ It’s sb’s dream to do sth.2.能力目标:通过多种语言交际活动培养学生英语口语交际能力和团结协作能力,提高学生阅读技能,信息处理能力及英语思维能力。3.情感方面:让学生体会乡村孩子上学的艰辛不易,懂得珍惜自己的幸福生活和学习条件,从而更加努力得学习,并对学生进行梦想教育,激励学生们为自己的梦想而努力奋斗。二.Teaching key points 1.重点短语及句型 2.在阅读教学中对学生阅读策略的指导。三.Teaching difficulties 1.在阅读教学中对学生阅读策略的指导 1句型It’s+adj+for sb+to do sth 四.Teaching preparations 设计教学PPT及多媒体教学设备。五.Teaching procedrue Step 1 Leading in warming up 1.Show the words(bridge school dream)on the screen and ask the students:What do you think of when you see the three words? The students can answer it in English or Chinese.2.Show the topic: Croing the river to school.Step 2 New leons 1.New words studying Teach the new words and phrases by showing different pictures ,movies and listening to the song(千里之外)2.Have a competition between boys and girls.3.Ask: How do we usually cro the river? The students may answer:We usually cro the bridge./We usually cro the river by boat.Then show the pictures of Liangliang and his clamates.and the pictures they take the ropeway.4.Reading practice(1)fast reading Ask students to finish two tasks

1.Retell the paage in English or Chinese.2.Answer the question: How do the students in the village go to school?(2)careful reading

Let students discu with their partners and answer the questions: 1.Why do they go to school like this? 2.Does the boy like this school? Why?

3.What’s the villagers’ dream? Do you think their dream can come true? Why or why not?

Students read the paage again.some of the students answer them in pairs and the teacher helps them check answers,then ask about their dreams.(3)Last reading(follow the tape)Last reading(follow the tape)

Read and underline the language points you know.Then teach others in groups.for example:It’s easy to get to school.It’s+adj+(for sb)to do sth.(对······来说)干某事是······的。

eg: It’s healthy for us to exercise every day.The students talk about the languages points in small groups and do some exersise.Call out one students to do it in front of the cla.5.Let’s act.(1)Ask students to work in groups and talk about how to help Liangliang and his clamates,then role-play in groups.(2)Let some groups to act it out in front of cla.Step 3 Summary and homework

1.The students talk about what they have learnt this cla and give the example.2.Show the words(insist, love, come true)and tell them to work hard for their dreams,don’t give up.remember to help and love others,then their dreams can come true.3.Sing the song(I believe)together and finish the cla.4.Give the homework on the screen.六.Blackboard Design
