一、教材分析
本课是《新目标英语》七年级上册第四单元，本单元围绕室内物品开展多种教学活动。通过这节课，训练学生的听、说、读、写四项基本技能，让学生通过询问物品的位置，学习一些有关家居物品和学习用品的单词，以及方位介词in, on, under等的用法；学习并掌握Where引导的特殊疑问句及其回答，熟练使用方位介词；学习名词单复数同时培养学生养成干净、整洁、合理摆放物品的好习惯。及人称代词they 的用法，二、学情分析
本节课学习的一些事物生词以及物品间的位置关系，贴近学生生活，学生会比较有兴趣。七年级学生有一定英语语言学习基础，因此本节课设计了一系列听、说、读、写活动，训练学生的英语学习技能。根据学生活泼好动的特点穿插了一些游戏活动，来吸引学生的注意力，提高学生学习的积极性。，三、教学目标
1、知识与能力
掌握有关物品的新单词：table, bed, bookcase, sofa, chair, 学习询问“物品的位置”，使学生学会基本句型“Where's my schoolbag”进一步体会“Where questions”？疑问句的用法；
学会运用方位介词“on／in／under”表达物品的位置关系
2、过程与方法
采用Personalizing、Pair work、Group work和Role playing的学习策略，利用多媒体教室教学环境来展开课堂Pair work问答式的口语交际活动，使学生学会基本句型“Where's??my??schoolbag? It's under the chair.”及方位介词。
3、情感态度价值观
该部分学习内容贴近学生的生活，谈论的主题是学生最关心的问题，促使学生了解自己的生活环境，热爱自己的学校和家庭，同时培养学生养成干净、整洁、合理摆放物品的好习惯。
4、教学重、难点
学习并掌握“Where”引导的特殊疑问句及其回答，学会运用方位介词“on／in／under”表达物品的位置。
通过使用方位介词“on／in／under”表达物品的位置及学习“Where”疑问句的用法。使学生会区别特殊疑问句。

on the sofa.教学反思：这节课重点通过听、说、读、写、练等各种形式让学生对目标语言进行训练，从而掌握新单词和句型，最后通过阅读形式加深学生对目标语言的理解，看图写话考查学生对目标语言的应用，从而完成由语言输入到输出的过程。学生整体反应比较积极，但感觉没有达到高潮。我想中间如果穿插一个游戏活动会更好些。板书是个缺陷，由于紧张，没有展示给学生。所以以后在课堂组织上要下大工夫，争取讲的更精彩。
