Yancheng Science and Technology Museum, invested by Yancheng local government, is a large-scale science education infrastructure.It covers an area of 76 mu, building area of 28,000 square meters, four floor on the ground and one on the underground, with a total height of 24 meters. The Science and Technology Museum is divided into five function parts: permanent hall, temporary hall, training hall, the reserve hall and special video hall. Permanent hall includes three theme exhibition halls: “Science and discovery”, “Technology and Innovation” and “science, technology and society” and two feature theme exhibition halls：“childrens science and technology park”, “wetlands and oceans”.
“Science and discovery” exhibition reflects the basis classical physics, recalling the course of human understanding of the world, showing the charm of scientific discovery. The main exhibition is hologram audio, sound focusing, optical wheel, static wheel, and the more the faster.
“Technology and Innovation” exhibition reflects the high-tech at the core of computer, including multi-media technology, mechatronics, communications technology, virtual reality technology.It gives the audience a strong visual impact and personal experience. The main exhibition is virtual shooting, mathematics laboratories, sensors family, talk to host, machine puppy, suspended magnetic ball.
“Technology and Society” exhibition introduces how science and technology promote the harmonious development of society. The main exhibition is typhoon experience, scientific restaurant, waste categories, the body fitness tests, and the illusion wall.
“Childrens science and technology park” lets children perceive the world in games. The main exhibition is virtual fishing, scientific maze, water world, hand-square, smoke escape corridor and simulate driving.
“Wetlands and sea”exhibition shows the unique scenery of beaches, lakes and rivers. highlight the unique character of “God Crane Deer World, East Wetlands Capital ” and enhance peoples longing for a better environment.
