A heated discussion over the system has been ignited among our class with two groups having different views. A minority of classmates hold it negative to have the system. As the rent is metered by certain apps on the cell phones, occasional instability of the mobiles or apps on them, such as lack of power or system failure, may bring fault to the rent. In addition, improper use or deliberate damage has brought about inconvenience to other potential users. They have also pointed out that the coverage is limited only to suburbs, making it unfair for those who desire the experience of this new thing.
In contrast, I’m interested in the sharing system of bikes. The bicycle can be checked out like a library book, and the Library Bike in a persons possession can be chosen for some trips instead of a car, thus lowering car usage. Just like the majority of my classmates in favor of the bicycle system, I’m confident that its wide and long-term use will not only save many travelers from traffic jams, but will contribute to improvement of air quality. Moreover, studies have been published observing an increase in cycling and health benefits where bicycle sharing systems are run. Generally, it has been all the rage in a way that brings better than harm.
