I am a volunteer of the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation. Last winter vacation , we had an investigation for mothers in poor mountainous areas, and we went to a mountainous village in Guizhou province.
what I had saw there make me so sad and impressive. Some children are in clothes made of woven bags , herd goats in the snow.The frozen red faces in the cold wind touch me deeply. In addition ,the women ,who are mothers of the children ,know little about outside world because of lack knowledge .They do not have ways to earn money, and do not have a appropriate method to bring up their descendant either. Most of their husband have went out to work to alleviate their economic burden,leaving them take care of children and old parents. Obviously,the women’s situation in poor mountainous areas is not look good.
Compared with them, we are all very lucky people in the world. You usually drinking coffee in a bar, paying to play games in a park,and buying expansive coat in a big market.Everything looks so bright. Therefore, I hope the lucky people will lend a helping hand to help the mothers! Perhaps this contribution for you is only a small expenditure, but they add up to love, and love can bring them happier life! The money donated will be used for helping mothers learn to read, training them to get working skill and providing women medical treatment.
Let’s share our gook luck with these unfortunates and our benevolent love will continue for ever! Thank you!

大家中午好!
高尔基说：书籍是人类进步的阶梯，是获取知识的源泉，是开启心智的钥匙。一本好书，是一扇面向世界的窗口，是一条通往真善美的道路。
近年来，我市经济发展迅速，而部分农村的发展依然滞后，那里的孩子对科技文化知识充满渴求，由于经济、教育发展水平较低，学习条件非常艰苦，孩子们的愿望一直无法得到满足，尤其是课外阅读书籍的缺乏与课外学习问题已成为阻碍他们健康成长的瓶颈。
为此，以中央电大举办XX年全民阅读活动“手牵手——农村青少年阅读行动”为契机，我们向全市电大系统教职工、全校学生发出倡议，希望大家能奉献出健康向上、知识性强的'书籍，帮助农村中小学建立“农村电大爱心书屋”，使他们的同学们能够与更多喜爱的书籍相伴，能够与我们同享多读书、读好书的快乐。

今天，我们站在灿烂的阳光下，站在这碧波荡漾的濠河水畔，站在这鸟语花香的勤敬园内，我们真的很幸福。但是今天，老师的心情是灰色的，是沉重的。可是，正因为它的沉重，我们才要再次的、反复的去提起它。
让我们将目光回溯到2008年5月12日，让我们将目光投射到四川的汶川县。那天，那里的天，塌了。那里的每一个人都在经历着
人生中最恶的噩梦，那里的每一寸土地都在经受着魔鬼的撕扯，而在这一天之前，他们和我们一样。有着相同的年龄，相同的爱好，相同的游戏；有着疼爱自己的爸爸妈妈，有着自己亲爱的伙伴，有着自己熟悉的学校、熟悉的老师。我们有着一样的幸福,。
可是，在一夜之间，所有的一切都变成了噩梦，变成了苦痛，变成了绝望。
当我们，看到那些孩子们一双双期盼的眼睛，同学们，你的心能平静吗？你愿意做点什么吗？
那段时间，我们这里所有的人都伸出了援助之手，仅仅几天的时间，我们学校的捐款已经达到了11万多。其中，有的老师捐了1000，有的同学捐了500，这是什么？这就是爱心。爱心不是施舍，而是一种责任，一种无比可贵的、神圣的责任。

当我们手捧爸爸妈妈买的精美彩绘课外书，畅游在知识的海洋中时，你们可曾想到、知道：在长丰县桥冲小学，有很多同学，做梦都想看本童话书，但是学校没有，自己更没有。有的学生说：“我的课外书只有一本作文书，从没看过童话书。”还有一名五年级的女生说：“我最想看的是漫话书，上五年级之前，都不知道什么是漫话书，不久前借看了别人的一本，一下就喜欢上了漫话书，可是因为贫穷，直到现在也没机会拥有一本属于自己的漫画书。”学校的图书室大部分是一些年代长远，页面泛黄，很久以前出版的书籍。据了解，我们省许多乡村小学都没有像样的图书馆，甚至没有图书馆。
亲爱的同学们，和那些农村的孩子相比，我们是多么富有和幸福啊！
一滴水，可以滋润一寸土地，一本好书可能意味着成就一个梦想。
亲爱的同爱们，行动起来吧！一些和我们同龄的贫困学生，期待着我们的友谊，期待着我们的爱心，期待着早日拥有一本自己喜欢的课外书。
