有人喜欢冰天雪地的冬季，有人喜欢春暖花开的春季，还有人喜欢秋风习习的秋季，而我却唯独钟情娇阳似火的夏季。
我为什么喜欢夏季呢？
因为夏季可以吃甜丝丝的冰淇淋，凉西瓜，美味的水果沙拉……，还有那夏天的歌唱家——蟋蟀，给我带来的'悦耳的伴奏声。

到了中午，骄阳似火的太阳公公毫不留情地炙烤着大地，人们赶紧钻进凉爽的房间里避暑，吹着空调，看着电视；外面只有那勤劳的，不畏炎热的小蜜蜂和蝴蝶正忙着采蜜，我被它们那无所畏惧不屈服的精神打动了；高贵的玫瑰花已经在风雨的吹打下凋谢了，就连我国的国花牡丹花也败了，而那不起眼的太阳花却迎着阳光开放着，阳光越是炙热，它就开得越热情，豪放。
到了晚上，天气变得闷热了，我们一家人吃完饭就去院子里乘凉，聊天，我睡在吊床上看哪满天的星星，成千上万的星星眨着调皮的小眼睛，好像在逗我玩儿似的。突然，爸爸回来了，他从网上买了一个专门捕捉萤火虫的大网，于是，爸爸带着我和妹妹去捕捉萤火虫，不一会儿，我们捕了一瓶子的萤火虫，亮亮的，妹妹说她要用这一瓶子发光的萤火虫当台灯用呢。
