I am Zhang jun, a graduate student of Tianjin University, and my major is Chemical Engineering.I will achieve my Master Degree in July 2014.I saw your recruitment advertising on the BBS of our school.I am willing to apply for joining in the manufacturing and Engineering Department because that my education and engineering experiences match with Dow’s requirements and I prefer Dow’s culture.Over these years, Dow attaches great importance to science, technology and element of human and insists on sustainability.I appreciate this value.Firstly, science and technology constitute a primary productive force.Secondly, staff and customer play the most important role in a company.On one hand, staves’ excellent quality, such as honesty, integrity, positivity, intelligence and diligence, is a big fortune for an enterprise.On the other hand, only does a company meet the needs of customers, and all of humankind, it can win in market.Thirdly, sustainable development is not harmful to the earth and our descendant, which is the guarantee to a company’s succe.Based on corporate culture, Dow is trying to reduce carbon emiion and provide low-carbon products.In these aspects, M&E Department plays an important role.I believe I am the person that Dow is watching for.First and foremost, I am advanced in profeional knowledge of chemistry and chemical engineering, which can help me solve profeional problems in my job.My major courses include organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry, material chemistry, physical chemistry, principles of chemical engineering, chemical delivery an so on.Most of them are related to Dow’s manufacturing and engineering.In addition, I have rich engineering and research experiences.I studied the crystallization proce of carbazole and overcome the crystal growth’s difficulty in the factory.While doing the Sulfuric acid alkylation project, I put forward to use the 500x filers to enhance mixing effect and designed a device used for mixture.What’s more, I focused on Ma-liquid Transfer, and published a paper,
, in.Nowadays, I am focusing on the structure optimization of the radial flow molecular sieve adsorber.I have already designed better structure of the adsorber and I am going to do experiment to check it.By doing engineering projects, I achieve a deep understanding of engineering.And I believe I have the ability to finish jobs in Dow’s M&E department.Last but not least, I am of honesty, positivity, intelligence and diligence.All of these elements of human are Dow’s requirement.At last, I sincerely hope that I could join in the M&E department of Dow.Thank you for your consideration.Best Wishes & Regards
