To whom it may concern,I am the applicant Liu Yang, who graduated from the Wuhan University of Technology majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Automation and attain the Bachelor’s Degree of Engineer.Presently I am studying at the same major in Guangdong University of Technology for a Master’s Degree.Since there is a partnership between University of Applied Sciences of Southern Switzer-land(SUPSI)andschool, I get a chance to major in Precision Manufacturing in SUPSI.Now I apply to bound for your revered country-Switzerland and study in there for oneyear.When I was a child, perhaps influenced by my father who is an automobile mechanic, I had been deeply attracted by the excited career.I decided dedicating myself to the correlative industry.After I graduated from the high middle school, I enrolled in the Wuhan University of Technology and chose the major of Mechanical Engineering and Automation.With more and more profeional knowledge were learnt, I gradually found out the importance of our major for the development of society and deeply attracted by this major than ever time.During my four-year college’s time, I studied hard and wanted to contribute to our society after I graduated from school.But with more and more knowledge I could learn, I felt that the knowledge I had learnt is far more insufficient.So I decided to continue my study by chasing a master’s degree.It’s well known that Chinese teaching pattern is quite different from overseas.I learnt about that the University of Applied Sciences of Southern Switzerland provides a practice-oriented education and offer a wide range of master’s programs.What’s more, it focuses on education based on profeional need and on applied research.I think it can offer me a rare opportunity to aquire more practical knowledge which is quite useful after I step up into the factory.I can promote my personal competency which is eential for living in such a competitive and rapid developing world.Meanwhile, Switzerland is an powerful country in industry.I believe it can afford me

I will do my best to adapt myself to it.I have made a short-term study plan for my overseas study.First, I will keep learning and improving English in order to follow well the course tought by English.At the same time I must acclimatize myself to the new environment and culture of Switzerland as quickly as poible.Second, I will be in University of Applied Sciences of Southern Switzerland for one year study.Before I set out for there I would like to have some courses related to my research

subject.After I get there I will be studying the courses arranged by the school and take some neceary experiment for my subject during the time.The third, I will finish my overseas study in expected one academic year and return China.Then I will keep on studying in Guangdong University of Technology and preparing my thesis.Oversea study will be not easy.Though there must be a heap of difficulties to be face, I consider it as one challenge but a chance of my life, and this experience will stimulate me to work hard to conquer all kinds of difficulties.I believe it will be a milestone and a treasure for my whole life.I will cherish it.我知道的中国的传统教育体制还是学习方法及思维方式与国外有着很大的不同点。国外那种重视素质教育，培养学生思维创新的教育体制正是我所向往的那种教育体制，但我知道将会有很多的困难出现在我的面前。因此我会努力去掌握语言，去适应新的学习环境，以及适应法国的文化。

其次，学习我所喜爱的计算机专业知识并尽快地适应法国的学习环境与法律法规，并在预算的3-4年的时间内顺利完成学业，学成回国。

完成学业回到中国后，我将在中国的计算机领域中找一个适合自己的工作并把自己在法国所学的计算专业知识运用在该工作中,我相信法国将是我人生的另一起点，我会在这个美丽的国家完成学业，为以后的成功奠定基础。
