居留许可申请的程序及规定
我们原则上要求来沈阳理工大学学习的留学生应该申请“X”签证，但是短期学生可以使用“F”或“L”签证。
有效期一年以内的居留许可费用为400元人民币，有效期一年以上、三年以内的居留许可费用为800元人民币。
一、持“X”签证入境的留学生缴纳学费后，不论“X”签证的有效期有多长，都必须在入境后30天内向沈阳市公安局出入境管理处申请居留许可。申请日期应该在JW201或JW202表的有效期内。
留学生首次申请居留许可需要提供以下材料：
1.学生本人的有效普通护照（至少有2张空白页）及签证。持非普通护照，将被要求申请普通护照后方可申请居留许可。
2.个人信息填写完整的《外国人居留许可申请表》，贴有近期免冠2寸照片，并在申请人处亲笔签名。3.录取通知书原件或复印件，JW201或JW202第三页（黄色页，并自申请之日起至少有一个月以上的有效期）。
4.沈阳检验检疫局出具的《外国人体格检查记录》原件。如果在申请X签证前已完成了体检则在入境后仍需要进行体检验证。
5.《临时住宿登记证明》复印件。校外证明由当地派出所出具，校内证明由留学生公寓前台出具。6.学校出具的申请居留许可证明。
7.在沈阳市公安局出入境管理处拍摄的专用条形码照片1张。
二、持有180天以内的“F”签证或“L”签证的学生可以在签证有效期内，申请居留许可，相关手续同“X”签证。
三、持有180天“F”签证的学生只能在中国停留半年，如需延长学习时间，必须在签证到期前申请居留许可。
The Procedures and Regulations of Applying for Residence Permit

1.2.3.4.5.6.7.The student’s own valid ordinary paport(at least 2 blank pages left)and visa.The students who do not have ordinary paports are required to obtain ordinary paports before applying for Residence Permit.Filling in the front page of the Visa and Residence Permit Application Form for Foreigners, paste one 2-inch size recently taken, half-length, bareheaded, full-faced photo on the form and sign on the reverse side.Original copy or photocopy of the Admiion Notice, and the third page(yellow one)of the JW201 or JW202 Visa Forms for Foreigners Studying in China with at least 1 month valid from the day of the application.Original Health Check Certificate iued by Shenyang Exit-Entry Inspection and Quarantine Bureau.The medical certificates done in your home country when applying for X visa still need to be verified in China.The copy of Temporary Residence Registration Form iued by local police station if living off campus or by reception desk if living on campus is required.Letter of Application of Residence Permit sealed by the University.One special picture with strip code on it took by Shenyang Exit-Entry Administration Bureau.B.Students with L or F visa（le than 180 days）applying for Residence Permit must follow the same procedures as those with X visa within the valid time of the visa.C.Students with F visa(180 days)can only stay in China for half a year and must apply for Residence Permit before extending the study period in China.
