The summer internship report
Time flies, I will be a junior next semester, so as to understand the basic
profeional knowledge and applying theory to practice.The school arranged for us to start internship in the junior summer, taking account of my job intentions and family reasons, etc.I chose to stay at XiaoShan for internship.However，When it comes to the first day, I sitting in the front of computer, I even do not know how to start up.Thanks to my Teacher's guide, I benefit a lot.I am very grateful of my teacher，I learned how to do transactions, how to do bits and pieces of international trade of his earnest instructions.He told me: With China's acceion to the World Trade Organization, more and more companies enter into the international market, foreign trade and economic development practitioners become in hot demand，which gives us a great opportunity to get a decent job.International trade means various countries exchanging goods acro the international boundary.In virtue of both transactions are two different countries or regions, these busine activities growing more complex and difficult than domestic, in the meantime of more challenges.The one, who engaged in international busine activities, especially the international sale of goods, not only neceitate mastering the basic knowledge, but also having a strong practical ability.Even so, the modern international busine activities bring up a higher requirement on employees’ knowledge structure and practical ability.So we are faced with greater challenges.We must constantly improve ourselves to adapt to the new situation.International trade has a great deal of intermediate links and a wide range of trading parties, which including commodity inspection, transportation, insurance, finance, railway stations, ports and customs departments, as well as a variety of intermediaries and agents.Any link goes wrong will affecting the normal conduct of the whole transaction, worse still, it even leads to legal disputes.I learned the various foreign busine correspondences at the beginning.In this learning proce，I feeling rewarding that I have acquired many practical applications of the official statement.Particularly in the whole proce of training, drafting of trade busine correspondence, the calculation of commodity prices, trading conditions in the negotiations, signing of contract for the sale and export of goods shipment booking, customs inspection, review of letters of credit and trade documentation changes
production and audit the operation of major busine skills to complete the whole proce of commodity exports.This proce enabled me to have a new understanding of international trade transactions rather than just empty theories.Lots of documents which I learned in the cla, as bills of lading, packing list, invoice, certificate of product quality and international trade procedures and a series of documents relating to trade，I thought that make no sense，the book was too theoretical, it must mot to be used in practice.But when read these documents, you’ll discover that theory and practice are inseparable, at this time we have seen and used what we have learned in the book.These documents greatly enhance our practical ability, what’s more，they make us a further understanding of how to fill out these documents.In fact, if
study carefully and modestly, many of the actual operation will be very easy to grasp.In addition, trade volume always larger than usual in international trade.During transport, the trading of goods may be involves in a variety of natural disasters, accidents and other external risks.So all kinds of insurance were necearily covered to avoid or reduce economic loes.It’s no doubt that the insurer should master of profeional knowledge and aware of each other's sake to maximize benefits.Besides, a veteran in company said: language is very useful and practical in communication of foreign trade, we must be familiar with a foreign language, and it is the bridge to communicate with foreigners.It may sounds simple, but for me, foreign language is a disaster.Several people also came with knitted brows furrowed.But as long as you have some specific experience in busine negotiations, non-verbal communication is also achievable, that is, make full advantage of your knowledge of the industry.Different industries have different specific terms, in some industries out of foreign languages;even factory workers can understand the profeional words.Experience in the industry also knows no borders, especially when talking about product quality;you can basically understand each other through each other's gesture, like eye contact.Prepared pen and paper in advance, when you cannot use gestures and language to communicate, use-drawing solution.When faced with the language barrier, you should not need to worry;It should be no problem as long as you make full use of existing resources to achieve basic communication.But this is only a transitional stage for industry personnel who expect to work for long term.After all, verbal communication is only valid in interview, effective language communication is much more important because of it is also applicable to calls and letters.These words make us sigh of relief, and we must aspire to learn foreign languages well.I am based on the courses in the operation, and carefully organize the program by going out and inviting strategy.I understand and master quickly by listening and watching, only combined theory with practice, teaching and reality, that is an effective form to cultivate our ability.
