Internship is regarded as the last experimental teaching stage in the university education.We could have an opportunity to do some major-linked work, improve our sentimental understanding toward our majors, cultivate our abilities to solve problem with our own hands and promote our comprehensive skills with the help of our fundamental theories, basic technologies and specialized knowledge.All of these will lay a solid foundation for our future career.The internship at the same time offers a test for the cla teaching, which can accumulate precious experience for the talent-producing program and make full preparation for graduates-would-be to blend into the fiercely competitive society.In the middle of April 2012, I came to UT FREIGHT FORWARDERS(DALIAN)CO.LTD work as a internship.I first met with Lemon, and then she led me to the office and told me about my internship program.Company decided to train me for merchandiser and aistant.The next two weeks according to the program I read some materials about international trade and international freight forwarding in the morning.Then the other time I could sat back Lemon to study how to work.She taught me something important when she were free.After two weeks study I know about the flow chat of import and export for sea and air.Dalian is a beautiful coast city.The main busine of our Dalian branch company is shipping export and import and the export busine is more.So at first I began to work with sea export.As two weeks study I knew sea export of our company can be divided into nine steps.1-Shipper’s Instruction:

Vendorrequire to complete all neceary info.And fax to UT-SHA, The info.Must include:

a.Date of Export.b.Name of Shipper.c.Name and addre of Consignee.d.Port of Destination.e.Quality of Goods.f.Goods Description.g.Shipment Measurement(weight+dimension).h.Freight Collect/Prepaid.2-Export Shipping advice and Booking Space:

a.For R/O shipment, check the freight cost and shipping schedule report to IBD and agent.b.For L/C shipment, check the freight cost and shipping schedule report to Sales.c.Check the cost with carriers/co-loader for the project cargo.3-Space Confirmation:

a.FCL shipment, booking with Carriers and obtain the SO.b.FCL shipment, booking with co-loader and obtain the delivery notices.4-Shipment check in:

Check stuffing operation with shipper and do it under shipper’s

instruction.a.FCL shipment operation with shipper and do it under shipper’s

instruction.b.LCL shipment, send the delivery notice to the shipper.5-Document Collection and Checking:

Submit and check all original documents to UT for export operation proce

a.Invoice.b.Packing List.c.Customs Declaration Application Form.d.Export License(Subject to the nature of commodity).e.Others.6-Customs Clearance Proceed:

a.Collection all concern documents for custom clearance and prepare

sending to broker.b.Do custom clearance.7-Bill Confirmation:

a.Check bill with shipper.b.Check bill with carrier.c.Iue bill draft under shipper’s instruction.8-Iue bill and send Pre-alert and concern documents:

a.Confirmed Cargos on board.b.Iue bill accordingly.c.IueD/N and key in cost and selling rates.d.Iue invoice to the shipper.e.Send all concern documents to agent.f.Key the cost rate in system.9-Close File:

Finish all operation action, close file and do backup.Things all see and say it so easy but when we do, it will be difficult.After study I thought I could do the work well.But while I work all by

myself latter, things always be so hard.It is easy to take mistakes,some busine have special require.While deal with documents and

communicate with customers or carriers/co-loaders I should always be

careful.During the work, this is the very first questionyou should ask

someone when they tell you something that you are unsure of.After some days I was proficient in setting of bill of lading and

warehouse receipt and can do the sea export busine well alone, Lemon

would give me some sea import or air busine.As I have the experience

on sea export, I learn these soon.The last thing I learned was how to contact with overseas agents.It

was a very amusing thing to communicate with these foreign counterparts.Lemon gave me a enterprise e-mail specially for contacting with overseas

agents.She said that it will give the foreign a more profeional feeling.While oversea agent inquires forwarding freight cost and logistics

service of UT freight, I should check the inquiry details.Then I will

check freight cost and quote to agent.Sometimes I was asked aist sales

to inquire the overseas agents for sales new order, and confirm the

exchange rate.Secure the quotation and submit to sales man, then wait

the confirm for next step from sales.Get the shipping order from sales,contact with and send request to agent for arrangement instruction.Take

care for the shipment situation, and update to sales.For import busine,get the draft bill to sales and wait confirm from sales client for docs.I also supply selling rate to agent, and give the final docs and invoice

from agent to import department.For export busine, send pre-alert to

agent, push the proof of delivery.In conclusion, this internship confronted me with many problems, but it

gives me a good platform to learn to deal with the incidents happening

in our daily life and study and makes me know the power of responsibility.I think it is certain to be an unforgettable leon I take.Therefore only

by constantly improving ourselves, we can have a big development.I think

no matter where you work, we should have a good preparation and adapt to

the social environment on the fastest speed.And we should strength the

training of the spirit of team and deal with all kinds of relationship.The most important is then we should know advantages and disadvantages

about ourselves.And we should make up the shortcomings.Finally, weather life and work or study, I think everything is not

going smoothly.So we should have a positive attitude to face.实习作为大学教育的最后阶段,让我们能够有机会做一些与专业有关系的事情,提高我们对专业的理解,培养我们解决问题的能力,进一步提高我们对专业知识的应用扩展我们的技术基础。所有的这一切都将为我们将来的职业生涯打下坚实的基础。实习同样可以视为对

我们课堂学习效果的一种检验,为我们融入这个竞争激烈的社会成为优秀人才积累宝贵经验。

2012四月中旬,我来到士盟国际货物运输代理有限公司大连分公司成为一名实习生。

在这里我首先见到了Lemon,她带我熟悉了工作环境然后向我介绍了公司的实习培训计划。

公司希望能经过培训让我成为一名合格的跟单助理。

在接下来的两个星期里根据实习计划,我在上午阅读一些有关国际贸易还有国际运输方

面的资料,同时学习一些货代操作的基础知识。下午我会跟着Lemon后面看她如何工作,同时用心体会自己所看的那些知识在实际工作中的运用。由于有着较好的英文基础,还有早

半天的认真学习,这些对我来说都不是太难。当一些比较关键的、比较难或是我不懂的地方,Lemon会停下来为我讲解,我也会认真做好记录。经过两周的学习我知道了海空运进出口的流程和做法。大连是一个美丽的海滨城市,士盟在大连的业务主要集中在海运,其中海运出

口更多一些,所以公司决定让我先从海运出口业务做起。

经过两周的实习我大概知道了我们公司的海运出口流程,大概可以分为9步:

1-发货人的委托书:

发货人提供好所需要的相关的资料,并传真给我们,这些资料一般包括:

a.出口日期。

b.发货人信息。

c.收货人信息。

d.目的港。

e.货物的数量。

f.品名描述。

g.货物的材积和重量。

h.运费的结算方式。

2-确认船期、运价及舱位:

a.对于R/O货物,将成本、船期提供给IBD与代理确认,根据回复信息开始订舱。

b.对于L/C货物,将成本、船期提供给销售,根据销售指示开始订舱。

c.遇到项目货物配合IBD/销售多方询价比较。

3-舱位确认:

a.对于FCL货至少船开前7天向船公司订舱并取得配舱信息。

b.对于LCL货至少在船开前7天向拼箱公司订舱并取得进仓通知单。

4-送货装柜方式确认:

根据客户的指示确认送货装货方式。

a.对于FCL货物可以到客户工厂仓库提货,提供门到门服务。

b.对于LCL货物将进仓通知发给发货人。

5-相关文件的收集和检查:

收集和检查客人送给公司的所有原始单据。

a.发票(至少两份)。

b.箱单(至少两份)。

c.报关委托书。

d.核销单。

e.其他文件,商检、报关单等。

6-通关操作:

a.整理报关文件送往报关公司。

b.根据报关文件向海关报关。

7-提单确认:

a.与客户确认。

b.与船公司确认。

c.根据客人要求制作提单样本。

8-船开后发预告并出提单:

a.确认货物是否上船,有任何异状通知IBD/销售。

b.根据要求出具提单。

c.根据卖价、成本出D/N。

d.开发票给发货人。

e.发送所有文件给代理。

f.将成本录入系统。

9-结档:

船开后5天内将红联交给财务部门,并将有必要留底的文件归档留底,如托书、配舱单、提

单确认等。

事情都是看起来说起来比较容易但是真的做起来的时候就不是那么回事了,虽然经过

一段时间的学习我觉得我已经差不多掌握了这份工作的要诀,认为凭借我的专业知识还有前

一段时间的努力学习,我够能胜任这份工作了。但是当后来我独自做的时候,面对着单据,面对着贵客的提问,面对着工作中的一些突发状况,我就有点蒙了。事情变的如此的困难,经常犯错误,甚至有时候对自己失去信心,好在Lemon还有其余的同事不断的鼓励我,让

我能不断的克服困难。

这段时间的工作也让我明白了许多,在学校里我们只是个学生,负责学习,不断的去

积累自己的书本知识。但是当我们进入社会之后,事情就不是那么简单了,面对工作中的困

难,自己的努力,去克服不气馁,以及周围人的鼓励与帮助都是我们解决困难的重要力量。

所以我们一面,要养成自己用于面对挑战,积极向上,不轻易放弃的性格,另一面要与周围的同事保持良好的人际关系,他们善意的帮助和鼓励将给我们以极大的动力。

对于工作,面对所要处理的文件、单据,面对顾客、代理的询问,要十分的细心,这

是降低出错率的第一要诀。如果遇到一些自己真的不明白的地方,要和前辈请教了之后再做

处理。

几个月之后我对于一般的海运出口业务能做的很好了,就开始接手做一些其他的业务。

有了前面的经验,接下来的工作学习的过程就比较顺利与愉快,让我有一种苦尽甘来的感觉,让我真正的喜欢上了这一份实习工作。

实习期间我所学习的最后一项就是为公司联系海外代理。通过邮件、MSN和我们这些

外国同行们交流,对于我来说是一件十分有趣的事情。Lemon为我专门配备了我们公司的企

业邮箱,她告诉我这样给人的感觉显的专业正式一些。当外国代理想询问运费还有物流费用的时候,我会和他们商榷具体细节,然后根据我们的成本和所需要的利润向他们报价。有一

种谈判做买卖的感觉,当然这些外国同行也会砍价。这些不仅考验我的英文能力更是锻炼了

我与人沟通的技巧。

有时候我也会负责帮助公司的销售向国外代理询问价钱,并确认汇率,然后

提交给销售人员,再等待销售人员的下一步指示。销售确认出货后于代理联系出

货事宜,告知运输要求。跟踪货物情况,并及时通知销售。对于进口货物,与

销售确认提单做法。提供卖家,将代理的提单和账单给进口部的同事跟进。对于

进口的货物发送预报及账单。

总的来说,这份实习工作让我接受到了许多考验,给我提供了表现和学习的平台。在这个平台里我学会的不仅仅是完成这份工作所需要的专业知识,还学会

了如何去处理和应对一些工作与日常生活中的突发情况,同时这份实习工作也加

深了我对“责任”这个词的理解,让我更加具有责任意识,自己的一言一行、处

理问题的方式会给公司带来怎么样的影响,在这里所学习到的,所感悟到的将会

让我一生都受益。只有不断的充实提高自己,每天迈出一小步,日积月累下来才

有质的提升。知道自己的长处,并且要善于运用,也要知道自己的不足,用心去

补救。将来无论我会在哪里工作,无论我的工作是什么,积极向上,不怕吃苦,敢于面对和克服挑战的心态都要伴随着我,这是才我永远的财富。同时良好的人

际关系对于我们的工作是起到促进作用的,做一个温暖的人,拥有良好的人际关

系,不仅自己快乐,也会让周围的人感到温馨,这样的我遇到困难,大家怎么会

忍心不帮助我呢。

无论是工作、学习还是生活, 不是所有的事情都会变的特别的顺利,困难在所难免,所以我们应当乐观面对挑战。
