The Enclosure Materials & Proce Development(MPE)Engineer is responsible for
development, qualification and validation of fabrication & finishing procees to support succeful enclosure design and production.You may participate as part of the Engineering Product Development team, working directly with the Industrial Designers, Product Design
Engineers, Operations Supply Base Management and Contract Fabrication Engineering and Production teams.Aist the aigned MPE on accomplishing product objectives, you may observe supply base resourcing discuions that identify tooling & fabrication methods and techniques.Observe and participate in troubleshooting material and proce iues.Observe and participate in qualifying fabrication procees and tooling to aure succeful introduction of new products into production.Responsibilities:
Participation in DFM, as well as Proce Yield, Capacity and Cost Modeling studies. Participation in development and specification of Enclosure Materials, Finishes and Manufacturing Proce discuions. Direction and Oversight of Proce Qualification, Approval and Documentation.Quality improvements. Travel to CMs(Contract Manufacturers)to observe Fabrication Proce Qualification and Corrective Actions.Requirements:
BS in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacture Engineering, Tool Engineering or related field. Analytical and problem solving skills. Knowledge of data analysis and statistical.
