Calligraphy Makes Me Strong-willed And Happy

As the saying goes, “Your handwriting reflects who you are.” My parents and I wanted my words were well written, so I began to practise calligraphy at an early age.I began to practise when I was in grade five.I always write each Chinese character one brushstroke after another.Each brushstroke must be the right one so it takes me a long time to practise every time.It’s hard for me but it sharpens my will, improves my aesthetic taste, and more importantly, it improves my inner quality.Practicing Calligraphy makes me more strong-willed and happier.I keep practising calligraphy every day.Here is the poem I wrote recently.Calligraphy, as an art, is not an art that can be achieved overnight.It takes long and unremitting practice.I believe in where there is a will there is a way.I hope you can be pleased with my performance today.I'm confident that I can succeed.俗话说：“字如其人”，我的父母和我都希望我的文字写得很好, 所以我从小就开始练习书法。

我在五年级时开始练习。我总是把每一个汉字一个个地写一遍。每一笔必须是正确的, 所以我需要很长的时间来练习每一次。这对我来说很难, 但它提高了我的意志, 改善了我的审美品味, 更重要的是, 它提高了我的内在品质。练习书法使我更坚强, 更快乐。
