Good Afternoon, my respected teachers.It’s a great honor for me to have this opportunity for this interview.Next I will give you a brief self-introduction in the hope that I can leave you a good impreion.My name is, 23 years old.I am currently a senior student at China University of Geosciences, majoring in materials science and engineering in Faculty of Material science and Chemistry.My hometown is in the countryside, one common country in Hebei Province.And my parents are industrious farmers who take great pains to support my study.I spent the first year to adapt myself to the university life when I was a freshman.I am a filial child and I don’t want to let my parents down.So in the next three years I put more emphasis on learning the knowledge and skills.You know we university students have much leisure time.In order not to waste time, I usually go to the claroom to finish my homework on my own or read some profeional books borrowed from the library.From these books I learned much and broadened my scope of knowledge.After three years’ hard working, I have obtained scholarship twice, granted as the school outstanding student.I paed CET6 with a score of 511 and the NCRE two C in one time.What I have done in the university, I think, will be a great comfort to my parents.Just as the saying goes, “All work and no play makes jack a dull boy”.I enjoy playing basketball with my clamates in my spare time.It is eential to take exercises to keep healthy.In addition, I once organized the whole cla to go to the park to do some cleaning job as volunteers.The experience helped me to cultivate the awarene of cooperation and communication.Furthermore, I will state several reasons for taking postgraduate exams.Firstly, I am of the opinion that I am not competent to do things profeionally owing to lack of ample knowledge and ability.In the long run, I believe further study is still urgent for me to pursue a bright prospect.Secondly, I love my major.I have a period of time doing experiment in the leadership of my instructor.I am fascinated in exploring something new.If I could have the chance to learn at Zhejiang University, a prestigious university well-known to the country, I will spare no efforts to concentrate on the studying and researching.If poible, I will go on with my study for doctorate degree.That’s all.Thank you for giving me such a valuable opportunity!
