Dear teachers, good morning!My name is ***.It's really my honor to come to IPE for today's interview.I hope I can make a good performance today.Now I'll introduce myself briefly.I' m 22 years old, born in Yantai Shandong Province that is located on the coast of Bohai Sea.I' m from *** which is one of the key universities of the 211 project and has the greatest strength in chemical engineering.My major is Pharmaceutical Engineering which is a chemical, pharmaceutical and engineering cro specialty.Generally speaking ,I am a hard working student especially do the thing I am interested in.I will try my best to finish it no matter how difficult it is.In the past 3 years, I have spent most of my time on study and have acquire basic knowledge of my major both in theory and in practice.I have paed the CET 4 and 6 in the early 2009 with an ease and what's more I have received many rewards and scholarships in return to my hardworking.In the aspect of research, I have participated in 2 research projects since my junior year.Firstly I did someseparation and extraction experiments about the germicide from plants.And then I have worked in a research group of biogas fermentation in use of food waste to do experiment about the nitrifying bacteria till now.Because of these laboratory experience, I have learned more about my major and biochemical engineering beyond books and claes.Additionally, some profeors dedicating to the research and some graduate students and PhD working hard in their desired fields left a deep impreion on me.So you can see from my research experience that I am very interested in the biochemical engineering and I deeply want to have further research in this area.Biochemical engineering is a secondary discipline of chemical engineering that employs the knowledge of chemistry and biology to solve problems in the field of energy, food and health etc..I believe the biochemical engineering will have very big development perspective in the future due to its close relationship of everyone's daily life and the sustainable development of society.And I have full

confidence of a bright future in this area.In character, I know I'm optimistic and confident.Sometimes I prefer to stay alone, reading, listening to music but I am not lonely.I like to chat with my friends almost talk everything.My favourite part-time is sports:swimming and jogging.Through college life I learn how to balance between my study and entertainment.That's all.Thank you for your attention.
