The Adventure of Tom Sawyer is one of the most famous and popular books among children in the world.It is written by Mark Twain who is one of most outstanding writers, novelists and orators.Helen Keller once said that she liked Mark Twain;even the God, liked him too.He had good reputation among the literary circle, so I want to learn more about him and his works.Therefore, I read it at the beginning of this semester.Tom’s parents paed away, so he was adopted by Polly aunt.Tom was a naughty boy.He could not stand the regulation of school, so he often skipped school.One night, he and his friend, Huckleberry, went to cemetery to verify their courage to their imagination, they witneed the homicide case.Afterwards, at the court, Tom hesitated about pointing out his crime.But at last, he tried his best to do it.However, the murder was escaped at that time.Accidently, Tom and Huck met the murder at the haunted house.They heard that the murder wanted to put a lot of money in a secret place.Once, his school organized going to picnic.Tom and his clamate, Becky, lost their way to came back in a cave.They had nothing to eat and drink for three days.They were faced with threat of death.The most dangerous thing was that they came acro the murder.At last, Tom depended on kite and found the exit safely.Villagers heard their experience and blocked off the exit.When villagers found the murder, he died due to hungry.Afterward, Tom and Huck went back to the cave, finally found the treasure and became the hero of this village.Tom was very mischievous boy.He liked play jokes on other people.But he was also a person who was full of kindne and willing to help other people.He did not like to stay at school all the time and lived a boring life.He always saved the ‘good children’ when they were in danger.He was brave and saved the problems and difficulties in a positive attitude.Tom was very smart.He liked adventure.He was a character that was described most vividly.The Adventure of Tom Sawyer is one of the most excellent works of Mark Twain.The active children and inflexible life were obvious contrast.The writer had shown us the truth of society and deception of religion.We can find that the writer was good at telling story and very humorous in this book.The description of nature was vivid, especially the description of scenery of hometown.I believe that Mark Twain loved his hometown very much.The writing skill was very good.I admire Mark Twain very much after I read his works.In this book, Tom was a boy who liked freedom very much.From some people’s perspective, freedom is more valuable than life.However, if we lose our life, what’s meaning of freedom at that time? Life is long or short, but it always is full of all kinds of colors;when you feel happy, life is red;when you sad, it is grey.Sometimes, life will become green when you come acro something fresh or novelty.But if we do not cherish our life experiences, we will lose the precious chance to see the color of life.Tom Sawyer’s different life experiences were admired by a lot of children.His cleverne won a great deal of toys instead of helping other people do something he was unwilling to do.He did not want to be looked down upon, so he and his friends went to adventure.Even if he experienced lots of dangers;with the brilliant brightne, he succeeded in surviving in the danger.At last, he got all his want.In my opinion, although Tom got the treasure and self-identity, but I still think he should put his life in the first.Neverthele, some people do not do anything all the day or committed suicide due to some ridiculous reasons, precious life is wasted.What a pity!We admire Tom’s cleverne and luck, only if we value our life and live a life with our ways, we will live happily.Another point is the friendship.There is no denying that Tom could not become the hero if he had not got the help and trust from his friends.He was very lucky that he made several good friends.They trusted him and helped him when he was in trouble, which was the very important factor in the Tom’s succe.In fact, not only in the novels but also in our real life, friendship is a permanent topic for human being.On the one hand, friendship is neceary for us to live.Regardle of work or life, we can not live a integrated live without friends’ care, help and trust.When we are upset, we need friends comfort us;when we are in trouble, we need their help;we also need them trust us when we run into some problems.We can share our happine and sorrow with friends.On the other hand, nowadays friendship is rare.A lot of people make friends with us just because they can get something useful from us.I experienced by myself.Many people are false.Of course, there are also a lot of people with true heart.My friends treat me very well.Although we have long time no see, we are still very close.When I need help, she always gives her hands first.I am so happy that though I once met something bad, I still make some true friends.If everyone treats others with his honesty like Tom and his friends, I believe that society will be a great difference.After reading this novel, I learn a lot.It teaches me to cherish life, live a colorful life and value the friends around me.Now, I want to read more works of Mark Twain.
