When I am reading “Walden” , I feel I am listening to a wise man's talking.Furthermore , I am not only deeply impreed by those beautiful and marvellous words about the nature in the book, but also inspired by the wisdom and philosophy which lie in every sentence.The attractive description about the nature, such as the small pond, beckon me to follow the perchance, then experience the beauty of nature.As I read more, I realize that Thoreau thinks highly of spiritual world, not the material needs.He says: A man is rich in proportion to the number of things which he can afford to let alone.In some way, this idea also reflects Confucius's thinking on the mental world.As we know, Confucius, the great educationalist of ancient China, once pointed out: "Simple needs, drinking water, bending the arm on a pillow, happy enjoying in life.Riches and honors acquired by unrighteousne are to me as a floating cloud.In the meanwhile, Thoreau advocates respecting and loving our nature, which is similar with Lao Tse's idea---人法地，地法天，天法道，道法自然。No exaggeration to say that, for more than 2, 000 years, China, even the Europe, was guided by those greatest teacher and moral philosopher, like Confucius,Lao Tse and so on.Now their opinions is spreading over the whole world.After reading the whole story, I find I am absorbed in the wonder of nature, and the life upon it.Facing with a dense wood, if we just measure about the busine value of tree, can we gain any improvement or satisfaction in our spiritual world.? Of course,the answer is obvious.The gratification of our material life is not the only measure of our happine.Anyway, it's more important to build our spirit than to mold our material life.郏英雅英语09509096504
