Some people make comments that Thomas hardy is a towering melancholy figure in Victorian times and new era border.I agree with this opinion.After reading “Te”,what I have learned is as follows: “Te” is a story about a simple village girl in the family which is under the dilemma of poor conditions and social customs,and she slowly step to the destruction.In the book's title page, the author only wrote a line of words:Te, a pure woman.This is the author’s evaluation of his heroine, as the author want readers to avoid having prejudices towards the heroine.Especially when her love with Angel proceed ,she had to bear how her life sucks and cannot talk to anyone with her miserable experience.Thus we won't blame her.Anyway,we have to admit, basically, she is really a chaste woman,who has a kind golden heart.We won't forget her ,who has suffering a lot，however,everywhere do everything carefully,for she is afraid of hurting others, she even wanted to give up Angle,and pull him to Izzie or another coworkers.Neverthele, when we hear Angel say such words cruelly,we couldn’t help to feel sorry to Te.What he said is,“I thinksince I abandoned marrying a wife of high social status and good fortune,instead I should marry one who is delicate,chaste and with pretty face and diligent body.” We all see that Te’s innocence just like blue sky,though occasionally filled by grey clouds, but when the cloudsdied away,the blue sky,is still the world's most pure,transparent thing.And we believe that love is great and selfle.If you love a person,you may accept it totally because in the last part of her part, was part of her heart.If you can't accept her past, you'll never totally enter her heart, her heart ,which is deeply love your heart.Destiny,which leading Te to a doomed ending.However,in fact,it is at the mercy of one’s own.why Te failed to seize her fate? Just because she didn't work hard? I don't think it was.She had tried,but in the tale,she had tried to struggle, she shouldn’t to be afraid of the future and her own destiny!I think if I were her, I should change, then the social transformation, not in May not my seat, had been such a few words “in this world, everyone has his own seat” I think I should right, I always believe don't move!
