It seems to me that many readers’ English reading experience starts with Jane Eyre.I am of no exception.As we all know ,Jane Eyre was wrote a hundred years ago , why this book has been popular for such a long time ?I think the answer to this question is that this book tells us to be an independent person, both physically and mentally.Jane Eyre is poor aspiring, small in body ,but large in soul.When we think of this girl ,what she gave us was not a pretty face transcendent temperament that makes us admire deeply ,but a huge charm of her
personality.She is an ordinary girl, not has a beautiful appearance ,but has a different ,independent heart.But the little governe had said “Do you think because l’m poor obscure plain and little ,l’m soulle and heartle ? You think wrong!” This is the idea of equality in Jane Eyre’s mind.In my mind ,though a person’s beauty on the face can make others once feel that one is attractive and charming ,but thesoulis more important.So try to be a great independent person.傲慢与偏见 Jane Austen's novel Pride and Prejudice is a lighthearted tale of love and marriage in eighteenth-century England.It centers on the elder sisters of the Bennet family, Jane and Elizabeth.The first sentence in this book is impreive.It reads: “It is a truth well known to all the world that an unmarried man in poeion of a large fortune must be in need of a wife”.The undertone is very clear: the foundation of the marriage at that time is not emotion but poeion.In this story Mrs Bennet wants to marry off her daughters ,the situation in Britain at that time ,only the eldest son had the privilege of
inheriting his father’s poeions.So Mrs Bennet wants her daughters have much money.Jane Austen told us that money and poeion determined everything, including marriage and love in her century.In modern society, although the marriages of economic needs have decreased rapidly, the concept of “money determines everything” is still rooted in some people’s mind.So what do you think? Is money gives us everything? I don’t think so.I think if we want to have happine ,we must to be enterprise.小妇人

friendship ,family and love are covered as we join the characters though the ups and downs ,good times and bad.In this book ,each chapter seems to set up a moral leon for the reader to learn.It is a book that young and old can read.
