--Book review on Black Beauty

Although I grew up in the village, I hardly pay much attention on animals.Actually ,never have I had the chance to close to animals too.Many years ago ,like most people who take it for granted that animals are just creatures without mind ,I think so.But when I learn more about animals ,especially after I finished reading the book Black Beauty ,I know that every creature is born equal and like we, humans, they are a part of nature.After finishing reading the novel ,I am deeply imprees by the author’s elaborate description of horse’s nature and behavior.How could a grace lady like Anna Sewell seem like a senor groom who knows exactly horses’ feeling? The meaning of the book is not only getting increasing people know more about horses, but also calling up people of all ages to respect animals and take care of them.In this book, the author personified these horses and presented the world in the Black beauty’s eyes in his lifelong experience.As a inferior creature ,he is powerle to revolt when suffering miserable overuse.What makes the life of Black Beauty different is human ,namely his owner.Throughout Black Beauty’s life ,he came up with various kinds of masters and grooms, considerate or bad-tempered.Life is like a mirror, and others will treat you the same way as you do no matter humans beings or animals.Regardle of their feelings , human want horses to run as fast as they can or carry twice or more the goods as they can endure.We would feel angry and intense to resist when we are rudely treated.So are the horses.That lady Anna’s falling down from a horse for her whipping constantly in ignorance of horse’s poor condition is good proof to it.So if we want a lovely animal ,w should treat them kindly just as Black Beauty says in the novel –It maybe hard work sometimes ,but a friendly hand and voice make it easy.With a special angle of view ,people in the novel are judged by horses’

eyes.Human beings regard themselves as controller so as to do anything they

like.But how can you image if there are only human beings left in the world ?It must be the end of the world.So it was high time that we should take care of other creatures and treat them as friends.I am gratified that Black Beauty be home finally after ups and downs.Hope all creatures will be treated kindly!
