Well, I have to say I have not understood this paage entirely.But in my opinion, I prefer dividing the thinking into two different ways.Firstly, the surface view is everyone’s first thinking when a thing happened.It may also be called the first reaction.To some extent, the surface view depends on someone’s reactive ability, whereas, if you don’t continue thinking, you may not achieve something you need.People always need a deeper thinking to face the things.For example, Newton was tamped by an apple under the apple tree, he first thought: “Oh, it was good ache!Why? Aha, because the apple fell.” If he stopped thinking he may not find Newton’s law of gravity, and it may not be called Newton’s, maybe Tom’s or maybe Thomas.Therefore, deeper thinking makes a common thing out of common.Well, how to think?

First, ask questions.Ask questions to yourself.It simply means you’re curious.You want to learn more, you want to know more, like “what”, “why”, “how”.Next, go and look for answers.By gathering information, you could learn had happened.Or you might discover that other factors lead to this thing.This kind of information will help you make a better decision.A critical thinker also considers an iue from different perspectives.Getting different perspectives on an iue can open your mind to new way of thinking.For example, you could ask different people how they feel.Hearing others’ opinions

may cause your own to change.Or become even more solid.You might discover personal biases.Everybody had biases.They come from different culture, background and experiences.Knowing about them can help you understand your opinions, and the opinions of others.In a nutshell, thinking is a proce to improve your learning ability constantly.
