Recently, I have read a book called Robinson Crusoe which was written by Daniel Defoe.The claic story of a shipwrecked mariner on a deserted island is considered as the greatest adventure in all of English lecture.This book tells us that although Robinson born in a rich family, he did not satisfy his life but wanted to go to the sea and lead an unusual life.So he ignored his father’s objection and the danger of the sea, he insisted to go to the sea.During a trip to Africa, they met big disaster.None survived except Robinson.He drifted to a deserted island.With his intelligence and bravery, he used all the things from the broken ship to make house, plant grain, raise animals and so on.Friday was a wild man who was saved by him and companied him.28years later, he returned to homeland finally.After reading this novel, I lost in thought.To be honest, it is a good book and worth all of us to read.What the most important thing influenced me is Robinson’s great image and lofty spirits.He just a common person, how can he lead his life with a few guns, any crops and even no shoes on the island? I think this is hard for us to imagine, but he overcame them.I wonder it is the spirit of insisting drove him to do that.When he knew he was in a deserted island, he did not give up his life.On the contrary, he tried his best to make new life there with his hands and brain.In order to protect himself, he built a house with the broads from the ship.In order to defend himself, he put many
stakes around his house.What’s more, he also learnt hunting, raised animals, grew plants, made porcelains and so on.Therefore, it is no denying that Robinson can work out the problems he faced in his daily life.I couldn’t help myself to admire him.What a strong and brave man he was and he always kept a positive attitude towards life.He had to face loneline, hardships, diseases and danger on the island.But it doesn’t matter to him, he made it with all his efforts.As the saying goes, the harder you try, the more you gain.Robinson tried many times but failed many times also, however, he did not give up because there was a belief that I must live and return home in his heart.So this inspired him to go on his life.Last but not least, Robinson was a creative man too.Although he leaded a hard life on the island, with these spirits, he grew much mature and became more determined to overcome the hard times and then went back his home succefully.The character in this novel impreed me deeply and he would be the model in my life.As far as I’m concerned, maybe we may not face the great difficulties like Robinson’s.But the lofty spirits of Robinson’s are worth us to learn.With the development of our society, for students, they need to learn different kinds of knowledge as much as they can.In this case, they will suffer stre more or le.So they need to hold a positive attitude toward the difficulties or problems and keep on creation in theirs studies then improve themselves gradually.How about in our daily life? When life is not be what we hope, but it doesn’t matter, don’t stop your steps or lose confidence towards life.Just go on and keep up
your dreams, learn from Robinson, compare your misfortune with him and you will feel you are still lucky and then try hard till you succeed.As we all know, there are many hardships during the road to succe, we can’t give up but to insist and insist.Because when we go through them, the happine of succe is waiting for us.
