Be a Strongman of the Times---after reading “Manifesto of the Communist Party”
With tremendous patience, I finished reading a famous book called “Manifesto of the Communist Party”.To read this book, patience is quite neceary because it is so long and so difficult for us to absorb the content and the ideas.So when I finished it, the first feeling I got was tired and exhausted.Now, I am sitting before the computer, facing the screen, and beginning to write down my feelings and thoughts after reading this monumental work.Without any doubt, “Manifesto of the Communist Party” is a famous work which is unparelleled in history.In the prelude of this book in 1872, we can see that Communist League was only a secret group under the conditions at that time.However, this secret group finally gained the world’s acknowledge and affirmation on december 10, 2007 and even in the much earlier time.With elapse of time, it has become stronger and stronger.And until now, this great organization has been an indispensable part of the world.But I should like to ask this comrades, “who should gain the honour of such great contributions?” Most of us know that a famous group must have advanced ideas which can represent its organization.So obviously, “Manifesto of the Communist Party” bacame the thought representive of Communist League and led it to the irreplaceable status in the whole world.The great of “Manifesto of the Communist Party” was not only that it strengthened Communist League, but also that it foresaw the trend of the development of the world.In the prelude of “Manifesto of the Communist Party” in 1882, it is not diffcult to find that the task of this monumental work is to declare that modern bourgeois property is doomed to die.In the limited society at that time, “Manifesto of the Communist Party” dared to predict the inevitability of modern bourgeois property’s death.And it was what other works unable to do.Why? Because facing the rapid prevalence of capitalism, people were not able to believe this judgement and on the contrary, they might think that it was just a dream that was impoible to be carried out.However, seeing from the development of society, we can easily find the superiority of socialism.This work places socialist society above capitalist society and makes us believe that capitalism would surely be replaced by socialism at last with the development of social productive forces.Therefore, “Manifesto of the Communist Party” has the ability to analyse the development of the world precisely.Jump from the world to our country and look back the journey of revolution of the Chinese nation, we can easily find an indomitable and intelligent national party---the Communist Party of China;and we can also find a mighty idea beacon---Marxism.In the dark old China, before the coming of “Manifesto of the Communist Party”, China witneed the wisdom and brave of innumerable intelligent people and also witneed their blood and death for the development of society.But no matter the peasant movement of Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, the improvement movement of the capitalist cla or the Boxer Movement, their defeat finally revealed that neither peasantrys nor the capitalist reformists was able to take on the formidable burden of leading the democratic revolution.And in the 1911 Revolution led by Dr, Sun Yat-sen, although the Qing Dynasty was overthrew, old Chinese people still could not step out of the miserable condition of the semicolonial and semi-feudal society with the limitation of history and cla.Where was the road? It was quite difficult to answer this question at that time.Those old Chinese intellects had been seeking it for a long time until “Manifesto of the Communist Party” was coming into China.And its coming made China’s future clear and promoted China to blaze a new path of development.Before “Manifesto of the Communist Party” was introduced in China, it had set off a just revolution in Ruia and lead Ruia to the starting point of communism.That’s why the advanced intellects in our country chose commucism as the highest aim of development.Although in the tour of the socialist transformation, these advanced intellects suffered a lot and even lost their lives, they still insisted and finally arrived on the winning end.Their efforts made old China change everything from the ground up and lead China to the primary stage of socialism.However, what gave directions for this tour? Obviously, it was Marxism.In the long-term fight between proceeding from reality in all work and sticking to dogmatism, the Communist Party of China, which was represented by Chairman Mao, hold on the principles of aociativing the actual situation in the theory and seeking truth from facts.What’s more, they creatively used and developed Marxism to realize the combination between Marxism-Leninism and China’s present practices for the first time.Then, they summarized all their experience and thoughts and welded them into an important work---Maoism, which was unparalleled in history.But no matter Maoism, Deng Xiaoping Theory, thoughts of three represents or eight honors and eight disgraces, they were all from Marxism.And besides, on the basis of Marxism they all took account of the practices and kept pace with the times, pushing Marxism to a new height and leading our country to a bright future!Now , we may as well jump from country to indicidual.Keeping pace with the times is always the theoretical character of Marxism, and that’s what creaticity needs.People who can combine his own future with the development of society and is brave enough to create new trails is a strongman of the times.As a college student, we should try our best to improve our create abilities.And what’s more, we should keep a firm hold on the theoretical character of Marxism---keeping pace with the times.Only in this way can we dig out our potential and become a strongman of the times!
