When I was in secondary school , all the teachers were recommended the book —— How the Steel Was Tempered.At that time , I thought that book is about the workers movement , it has no connection with my learn , why all the teachers recommend it ? But after I read it , I think it’s the most useful book that I never read.At the first time , I read the famous words : Our dearest poeion is life.It is given to us but once.And we must live it so as to feel no torturing regrets for wasted years , never know the burning shame of a mean and petty past;so live, that dying we might say : all my life all my strength were given to the finest cause in all the world--------the fight for the Liberation of Humankind.I had no feeling about it , just the no regrets touched me.When I
read the hard life of Pavel • Korchagin , it’s boring, but when I keep reading , I can’t stop reading.When I finished the book , I can’t calm down , he really moved me.This time , I read this book again , it’s still has the power to move people.How the Steel Was Tempered is the autobiography of the writer Nikolai Ostrovsky , he is the prototype of the Pavel , the whole book is the real life of the Ostrovsky.Pavel was a boy who lost his dad at a very young age , he has to live a hard life with his mom.His mother wants him to learn more ,so she begs the prist to teach Paul knowledge , but Paul was dismied by the prist because he strewed some ash on the flour that is used to make cakes.After left school ,Paul did many hard jobs to help his mother to support his family.At that time ,he met a Bolsheviks Zhukhrai , after that , he learned many things about the Bolsheviks.After he saved Zhukhrai , he also get onto the socialism road.After he choose the socialism , he plunged all
his energy to the work , even while he is seriously sick , the motivation of recovery is getting back to work.After his eyes blinded , he almost lost his power to live , it’s his wife’s love and the perseverance of himself to support him to live.In this book , what impreed me deeply is that when he went to a poor place to build a railway , the environment is so bitter and the living conditions are so poor.I can’t imagine how to survive from the badly conditions , though he was sick after the railway has done , he made it.Nowadays , we have a very good living conditions , even more , we are living like a prince or prince when we were children.We don’t have to worry about how to live and how to get education , we just live a happy life.Some children even don’t want to get education ,they just want to play with others , don’t have to worry about living , all the things that our parents will do well for us.When our parents talk about the hard life of themselves to teach us cherish what we poeion , some children always say that the time is changed , you can’t ask me to do what you did when you were a child.For this situation ,after I read this book, I just want to say that our living conditions are improved a lot because our elder generation did much effort to create wealth
and cherish what they have , we have to do that like them.I believe that no one would like to live a mediocre life , even a little gra is try hard to increase some green to the spring , to the nature , to the human being , to the animal …… Because they want to leave some trace that we will remember for a long time after they withered.So like the human , we should try our best to have a splendid life ,which is not mean that we have to do many things famous or great , just don’t feel regret when you look back your life before you dying.Life , for everyone , is a winding and rocky road.In the journey of life , you will met numerous difficulties like failure , frustration , the pain of no one understand you …… However, all the barriers are temporary , after we go through it and look back it , we will realize that all
the obstacles are the beneficial teachers to us , they teach us how to live and how to live meaningful.Compare to Pavel , the difficulties that we met is insignificant , we have no reason to groan , hesitate to move.As a 21st
person , we have to meet the fierce competition.When you feel baffle and hesitation , read the book , you will get the encourage and keep forward.Remember the words : Our dearest poeion is life , it is given to us but once.And we must live it so as to feel no torturing regrets for wasted years ,never know the burning shame of a mean and petty past.
