Some time ago, I came acro the TV series Man VS Wild, which I was deeply impreed by.Man VS Wild mainly tell us about how to survive in the extreme environment.The host, Bear Grylls, was dropped into the extreme environment each time, such as mountains, quagmires, rain-forests, sea-islands, etc.Though the extreme climate made it hard for Bear to survive, he gave a lot of suggestions that helped us to find or any ways to change the undrinkable water into clear one.And he told the audience how to light a fire, to catch small animals for food, etc.One of the things that impreed me is that Bear jumped in to a mire in order to tell us how to get out of it.He told us not to struggle and just crept forward and slowly achieved to a safer ground.Another event that admires me is that when Bear was in the Africa, a place lack of water and food supply, he succefully found water in African elephants’ excrement.He squeezed a handful of elephants’ feces and drink, which really inspired me a lot.To survive in a extreme environment, one of the most important is finding clear water.In those place lack of water, like desert, one have to seek water in cactus, preserve urine in snakeskin, and drink it little by little.I found the series useful, which helps you to survive in extreme places.It has a wide scope of knowledge ranging from geography to biology, which gives me a deeper understanding in the nature.Of course, we won’t be almighty like Bear Grylls.However, with the aid by the TV series, we will be more calm and brave enough to face the fierce competition nowadays.
