I have knownThe Shawshank Redemption for a long time.It is a famous movie.Thanks tothe summer holiday, I have such a good chance to watch it.When I heard the name of the movie for the first time, I considered theShawshank to be a man’ name, but in fact it is a jail’s name——a hellin the world.Every time ,we know iti sneceary to keep hoping.However , if you were in such a hell ,would you keep hoping?

Yes ,you shoud.Andy gave you the best answer.“Remember, Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things and no good thing ever dies!”Every one got despir in the Shawshank except Andy.His best friend ,Red,told him ,“ These walls are kind of funny like that.First you hate them, then you get used to them.Enough time paed, get so you depend on them.That’s institutionalized.”They tried too many times but they never finish it, so they gave up.Andy tried.He has the bright brain ,the never fading persistent,and the most impotant thing----hope.He put up some poster withbeauty.Then he usedhiswisdom and talents to help his warden and prison officer make money.To his credit,hehad writtenletters to the government so that the prisoners could read.He brought hopes to the prisoners.He worked hard to run away.In the end ,he succeeded.It is important to keep hoping.I think all of us can know something.
